It's really hard to see anyone in the NFC stopping the Pack. That's just a strong, disciplined team.
The saints can't stop anyone defensively...green bay has some players on defense although as a unit they aren't amazing.
Big win by the Giants in Dallas last night. They now control their own destiny and will win the NFC East by winning their last three games. While I don't have delusions about them being as good as Green Bay or New Orleans, I think the Giants have shown that they can be a very dangerous team and anything can happen come playoff time.As for the Denver Tebows...simply amazing!!How crazy was yesterday? Seemed like half or even more than half of the games played game down to the final drive. Very exciting and action packed!!George
Dear Chicago, thanks for the gift. - DetroitToo bad Carolina's defense flopped again.....
The Reffs gifted that game to the Lions. Since when is yanking a quarterback sideways by the facemask not a penalty? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vidrDXC3ugIt was so obvious, I'm still trying to figure out how they missed the call when Levy yanked Joe Webb's facemask at the end of the game. That chippy stuff must be part of the Detroit playbook because more of their players seem to do it than any other team. I guess it was just "incidental" like kicking a player laying on the ground as Suh did against the Packers. Either way, they could barely handle a BAD Viqueens team - with a BAD third-string QB - on their home field. Pathetic...Detroit is a team of punks and dirty players. The only people hoping for a Detroit playoff birth more than the Lioins' fans is the team they will have to face. Detroit in the first round will be a gift to any opposing teams, although not as big a gift as the refs gave them at the end of yesterday's game. Good luck! J
Lastly....for what it's worth, Joe Webb is about as Tim Tebow as you can get.
Joe Webb plays for a bad football team and I believe came from a small football program. Webb's play was the reason the Vikings came back, he caught the Lions off guard. I'm not overly concerned after the Lions dominated the first half and still pulled it out...won't see too many drastic QB changes in the playoffs, I'd guess. The Lions do still have the league's best DL and it will determine how far in the playoffs they go.So is Tebow going to be Andre Ware or Danny Wuerffel? Those are lofty expectations. Longterm the running QB thing has rarely panned out. Age and injuries take that away and you're left with a passer. He needs to be able to do that on a consistent basis.
Oh yeah the Tebow pedigree I've been reading so much about. I don't dislike Tebow but you're claiming that an entire team have awful character but Tebow has pedigree without much to go on. Maybe he has Tiger blood, too.
