I feel ya, my man.  My juices are flowing for the playoffs to come, too.  Well, except that Houston won't be getting very far.  I mean, how can they.  Bout as well as Denver, I imagine.  I'd love to be wrong on both counts.  I'd love to see ALL the favorites upset.  One exception would be the Pats, unless it's New Orleans in the big one.

I think he was suspended for the year, but that is almost up.  I grew up in Dallas, watched Meredith in the Cotton Bowl, season tickets and the whole bit, but no doubt that Robin is the numero uno Cowboy fan.  He brings a lot to AC and, we need to get him back if he is interested.  I'll drop him a line over on Audionervosa.

There are a lot of questions surrounding the Cowboys but I doubt if Robin is the answer to any of them.

Yep, Dallas is definitely the Jekyl and Hyde team of the NFL (although, George, your Giants give them a run for their money).  But they still have too many holes to be a really strong team.  Next Sun will be interesting to see if either team can play solid offense and defense.
Hoping for a good game from both teams, and injuries to none.  :thumb:

The Giants are consistently inconsistent and maddeningly frustrating to follow this year!!

Week to week, they can beat anybody or look like utter garbage.

I know which I am rooting for come Sunday night.

What?  The refs don't flag for holding in the playoffs?  Denver's O line is holding all over the frickin place.  Boy, if your jury is still out on Tebow's passing ability, you have to be ignoring the obvious cause he may be the worst in the league.  So far- it's half time- he's been just plain pitiful.

The Jets stink.  Pathetic.  No sweat off me, tho.  Brady and the Pats are beautiful :thumb:

As I've tried to say all along, Tebow is not an NFL quarterback. He stinks skill wise but does exceptionally well in the area of dumb luck. The Broncos are down 4 points with 8.5 minutes to go in the 4th. They have the ball, first and ten, on the KC 48.
I predict they will run the ball into the middle of the line twice and then Tebow will drop back and ......... your guess is good as mine. Last time he took a nine yard sack on 3rd down.

Bad as Tebow is, John Fox is worse. Playoffs are looking likely for Denver but that is small compensation for having a lame-ass, predictable, ineffective offense.

Broncos lose and now their future is in the hands of The Lip who will probably beat Oakland allowing Denver to back into the Playoffs.
Tebow completed 6 passes in 22 attempts for 60 yards. No touchdowns. One interception.
As Launche pointed out a while back, pro defenses will game plan against Tebow and that will be the end of his magic. Looks to me like an accurate prophecy.

How in hades did Kansas City ever beat the Green Bay Packers this year?  Today's game vs. the headless horsemen was about the lamest important game I may have ever seen.  Nevertheless, I'm happy for big man, Romeo C.

Macro, the proof of what you say is in the pudding, as the saying goes.  I don't know what to expect from Fox next time out, but clearly that offense is pretty impotent as is.  If he, Fox, fails to move the ball any better than he did today, he needs to go.  What is he going to do with Tebow?  I'm wondering how big that thorn in his side is.  I got the feeling he is not imaginative enough to change a thing.  A couple of those I formation plays worked early.  Maybe he oughta go crazy with that.  Sumthin.

Tebow ha a very bad game but it's unfair to pin everything on him.  Fox is a brutally bad coach and I'm still trying to figure out why they didn't go for the field goal at the end of the first half.  Also, Napoleon Dynamite - Kyle Orton- looked pretty good in the first quarter.  He sucked the rest of the way.

I'm not sure if Tebow will make it in this league but he will not make it on a team that has such a predictable offense. He has no throwing accuracy and faces too many third and long situations.  I am in the minority because I think he can play in this league and win games, despite his total lack of passing accuracy, with the right offensive strategy and the right players around him.  It will probably not be with the Broncos.

Biggest choke of the day?  Denver? Maybe, but I'm going with Detroit. They lost a game to the Packers with a backup QB at the helm. To make maters worse, the game was meaningless to the Pack and the backup, Flynn?, threw for almost 500 yards and 6 touchdowns.  A record game by the backup!  I thought Detroit was supposed to have a good defense.  They were lucky to have faced a backup, Rogers would have hung 70 on them.

The refs hate the Lions. They lost because of terrible calls today... Plain and simple. The only positive was that the Packers showed they're dirtier than the Lions. The Packers muffed a punt, recovered a fumble that arguably wasn't, and received a nice no call touchdown the lions scored. The Lions didn't choke, they have a bad hurt secondary and were robbed.

Stafford with 5,000 yards passing this season and still no pro bowl.

You clearly didn't watch either game. Tebow has had plenty of opportunity and has lost more games himself than he has won for his team. He's young, that's about all he has going for any argument he can improve. It's possible but he needs Soooo much work throwing... I just don't see it, but stranger things have happened. The broncos will miss Orton in thr playoffs.

Apparently god is too busy in Iowa right now to babysit Tebow. Maybe next year -- but that could be worse, what with the election coming during the NFL season. Timmy just can't catch a break anymore.
John Fox will probably be given 5 or 6 seasons to prove he's a loser, and by then Elway will have Matt Millened the Broncos into a hole that will require 7 more years to recover from. By then, Pat Bowlen will have sold the team. Dark days ahead in Denver.

In the playoffs I expect Pittsburgh's offense to sit for much of the game because their defense will score every time Tebow has the ball. Polamalu will set some kind of record. Ben will only play about ten minutes. Steelers by at least 20.

How are those sour grapes tasting?  I didn't see the game because it wasn't televised in Chicago.  Was that a ref putting up record numbers against the vaunted Lions defense?  This was a meaningless game for the Packers and the Lions couldn't take care of business?  Good luck in the playoffs. Maybe Atlanta will play their backup.

As for Stafford, I am a fan. Although, how hard can it be to throw the ball to the  best receiver in the game?  I'd like to see Stafford's numbers if he was on the Bears with their crap group of receivers. He'd be average as best.

Regarding the pro bowl, Stafford is not in the same league as Rogers or Brees. He's having a better season than Eli Manning but Manning apparently got the selection based on reputation.  This is Stafford's first good year as a pro. If he repeats his performance next year, he should make it as an alternate...unless he gets hurt again.

He's the fourth qb ever to toss for 5000 yards I believe behind an average offensive line with no run game. He didn't even make the pro bowl. Chicago has a bad line with receivers who can't catch, Cutler survived at least.

Hey, I really don't consider him average, just pulling your leg.  He's a talented young QB and one of my favorites.  He should have been specter over Eli. If he played in a media-darling market like New York, he would have been selected.
