The unit has analog/RCA jacks in. Maybe not ideal to work with your computer/sound card, but it will work with analog out....
It has no EQ functions, really. There are two loudness settings, affecting bass and treble in undocumented ways, and a loudness off setting.
You can't tell from the web, but those are 5 way binding posts, albeit the cheapest ones you've ever seen. Still a great convenience.
I use mine in a mid sized room for background music with some 89db Fried A/6 speakers. Those are so smooth that it could sound like anything and I wouldn't know it (not to mention my ears). I like it ergonomically a great deal. It's like a $200-300 Linn Classik (listed for $400), but is smaller than some of those NAD all in ones floating around.
It does not put out 20 watts in any meaningful way, though, if you read the specs carefully.
