Hi Tyson,
I've been using the HQPlayer upsampler to change my 24/96 and 24/192 files to DSD256, and I like the way it sounds. The problem is that I'd really like to hear things upsampled to DSD512 but my Windows 10 PC server doesn't have enough CPU to do that in real time, which is how HQPlayer works.
Is it possible to do this type of conversion with your program?
AuI ConverteR support output DSF D64/128/256/512/1024.
It possibly check in demo at our site
http://samplerateconverter.com/This option supported in PROduce-RD (maximal edition) and some configurations of Modula-R edition.
And are there any differences in sound quality between your program and HQPlayer?
I don’t research HQPlayer. Jussi (HQPlayer’s developer) stated some figures and I may trust him. It is good level.
Of course, any qualitative algorithm consume great computing resources.
Our software intended for studio work.
It is mean that there distortions and noise should be reffered to level of pro analogues.
Still I don't stumbled independent comparison of PCM to DSD converters.
But here comparison of DSD to PCM converters (see Noise level in table in 4th picture)
