Blow to the head?

If hitting somebody in the chest/back equals hitting them in the head...yes.

It doesn't matter now. The Giants have this game in the bag. They look good.  I have déjà vu from '07.  Solid performance.

Congrats Giants fans. The G-men sure look better than they did when I saw them a few weeks ago.  I had a great time in NY and the Giants fans I met were some of the coolest.

Guys:

While my season is over I think there will be some great games next weekend.  The G-men at the Packers, Saints at the 49's, Broncos at the Pats and Houston at the Ravens.  I will make my picks:

G-Men
49's
Pats
Ravens

I hope the games turn out to be as exciting as I think they will be!

Well, I wish my team had been in it this weekend but it was not to be!  Congratulations to the winners!  I went 4 - 0 this weekend!

I love it!  I love it!  Now THAT was a fun game- unless you're a GB fan, of course.  That was the most enjoyable game I've seen in the playoffs!  Well done, G Men.  Heck of an attack plan, heck of some execution.  Manning was the MC!  They have to travel to SF.  I hate that, all those San Francisco yuppies.  Fooey.  Let em cry in their drinks in all those chic bars.  Go New Yawk!   How did you like that call that gave the Pack another set of downs (I think that's what Soundbitten was refering to)?

That was a grade c- playing of the Packers 8 dropped balls is what killed them - most for 1st downs and one for a touchdown. I don't mind the Pack losing but that was just fugly. Guess I will hope for the 49ers to win next week.

Great all-around game by Giants.

Yes, it does look like they are peaking at the right time.

Next week in SF will be very challenging and in no way is a gimme.

Glad I moved my trip to India until after the Super Bowl.

Great win for the Giants  :thumb: .

Nevertheless the league should investigate why that one play wasn't called a fumble when all the replays it showed it was.

Yes, that's what I was referring to.  Another sh*t call that went against the G-Men.

I don't know that I'd agree with that, but it was a nice game.

Odd, only one replay was shown.  I guess the producers didn't want to dwell on a bad call unless there was another reason.  Their helmets never even touched.

Terry Bradshaw agrees ... he said so on the post-game show.

It's almost like the Packers wanted to lose that game. Gratz to the Giants.

the Ravens Defence beat the Texans.Flacco barely showed up but at least he did not throw any picks  :o the Ravens beat the Patriots the last time we played them in the regular season and the last time we faced them in the playoffs.the Patriots have the worst Defence out of all of the teams left standing but they have the best QB left standing.they wont score 45 points on the Ravens Defence and if  keep your fingers crossed  Flacco shows up next week the Ravens just might win the AFC Championship  :thumb:

  Had a great weekend with my boys.  Went to the Wings game which included an OT win over the Blackhawks on Saturday.  Sunday morning we went to the Detroit Auto Show for some cool looking cars.  Hit the road and got home for the start of the second quarter of the Packer game.  10-10 was the score but it went down hill from there.
Congrats to the Giants.  You came ready to play.  The blow to the head was a bad call.  Ref must have been at an improper angle??  I officially hate having the best record, meaningless week 17 game, and the bye...Packers looked and played like it was week 1. The Pack defense did pretty good against the run and everyone knows the secondary sucks.   Especially that NY td before half     The Packers offense was just not in the game to win.  Fumbles, dropped passes.  Ahhhh!!!

I was beginning to like Eli but after beating my Packers it will take another 3 years.
