I'd like to see a New York/Baltimore match-up so the G-Men can extract revenge for Super Bowl XXXV.
I'm not as familiar with the Ravens play as you are but I suspect they'll have something more important for Ed Reed to do besides chasing that moron down the sidelines. Ray Lewis won't be able to keep up with the tight ends, will he?
Lucky for the Giants that the Redskins aren't in the playoffs.
Well, Jim - Congratulations on your recovery. Perhaps you could share the techniques and/or rituals you used to break the curse. I'm sure there are legions of desperate Cowboy fans out there who would give anything to get free of Jerry's circus.
Think about it further it will be tough for the Ravens to win. They have been shakey on the road, Flacco is playing subpar ball and their pass rush is average of late. You need to get pressure on Brady for starters and I don't think they can do that. Then Flacco will need to keep up with Brady and I don't think he can do that. Haven't even mentioned the Pat's TE's and how the Ravens will handle them in the middle of the field.I think Brady and Beli are looking for redemption in avenging their home playoff loss to the Ravens and I'm sure would love to see the Giants in the Superbowl and make up for that historic loss.
The home team has won 7 out of the first 8 playoff games. Why shouldn't that trend continue? I like the Patriots to beat Baltimore and I don't care who wins at Candlestick -- except for the fact that S.F. is likely to be less obnoxious about winning than you know the Giants would be.Even though the Patriots have a defense that doesn't shut down anybody but Tebow, I doubt if anybody but the Giants has the offense to threaten them. And Eli is bound to run out of helmet completions sooner rather than later. Belichick is by far the best coach of the remaining four.
