I figure Baltimore will defend against the run all day. They're probably thinkin that while Houston may score one TD via air mail, that 3rd string QB can't do much more than that. Besides, they are not without artillery and they'll punish my QB every chance they get. But, we gotta know that and they gotta shut down some serious slash and burn running. I hope coach has this worked out. We gotta get em off balance, coach. Come on, coach, beat them loudmouth Ravens UP! Play em to death.

In order to effect accurate communication it is advisable, indeed proven, that terminology be consistent. The best way to achieve this is found in the consensus definitions provided by widely accepted dictionaries. The legal community uses this standard for these very reasons.

While anyone is free to amuse or delude themselves with personal interpretation and definition, no-one has the right to impose those on the wider community except when qualified as just their opinion. Despite unsolicited and unsupported contradictions, the use of the word superstition was used correctly and accurately.

After all, many athletes rely on superstition. Some have special game day sox. Some don't shave. Some rub a rabbit's foot. Some have a favorite gesture or incantation. Some thank their lucky stars. Everyone has their own form of expression. And, so far, no particular brand of antics has proven itself superior to any other, not even kissing your putter. It just all comes down to personal delusion aka: superstition.

Tebow is a person of faith. It would seem there are a few others inhabiting dry land who are, as well. I don't think they appreciate their beliefs being refered to as superstition. Maybe those of us who do should refrain from doing so as a courtesy.

The oddsmakers sure do like San Francisco. I haven't seem them play this year but I know they have the number 1 defense. New Orleans isn't just a passing team. Lest we forget, they have a little whirling dervish by the name of Sproles. I really want NO to KO the gold diggers. Shread em, is more like it. GO NO! The oddsmakers like Baltimore, too. I hope its a very bad day for oddsmakers is all.

I live between Baltimore and Annapolis and i am a Ravens Fan.the Texans looked good last week so who knows what will happen this week in B'more.if Flacco is on we are pretty tough to beat. we did sweep our division.i will make a brief comment i believe religion should be a private matter between a individual and thier higher power or whatever thier belief system may or may not be.

A team from your division got swept pretty good by Houston a couple of days ago. I think you are right - a lot depends on Flacco and he hasn't done well in the postseason. Looks like Houston wins this one.

Do the Broncos have any chance? New England was the team that ended Tebow's string a month ago in Denver. It should only be worse in the playoffs and in Foxboro. I'm not sure how effective Welker will be but The Broncos will have nightmares with the N.E. tight ends.

in week 6 we beat the Texans 29 to 14 at Houston.the Ravens are well rested and if Flacco is on this week Baltimore will prevail.i dont think the Broncos have even a slim chance of getting past the Patriots but you never know

The Pats won't make the same mistakes as the Steelers. I wish the Broncos well, but I think they're overmatched this time. The Broncos will have ended their season well and with Tebow in the driver's seat, too. I can't help it, I just like the kid. For that reason, they remain my sentimental favorite in the game. I would be happy to eat my words if they win.

Here's mine:

Ravens over Texans- The Ravens scare the pants off me. Their defense will play the run and dare Houston to beat them in the air and they have a pretty good secondary. I'm thinkin the Ravens will get some turnovers, too.
Green Bay over New Yawk. Can't see why the outcome wouldn't be the same as last time, but I can hope.
Pats over Bronkies. I think the Broncos can score, but can't help but think they won't score enough.
Saints over 49's. I'm clueless bout the 49's. But, not about the Saints!

Boy, that post almost makes me want the Ravens to win.

I like watching Ray Lewis pout about losing too much to actually do that, though.

I've studied the numbers for the Saints - 49ers game pretty well. The Saints should win this one rather comfortably. However, the wildcard stat is that Drew throws 41% more INTs on grass than on turf. That could be a game changer if not addressed.
