At some point it's no longer DIY if it is all done for you?
I'm pretty sure if you wanted a speaker by Danny and called him up he could tell you in 2 minutes which model and from whom that he would choose.
From what I've seen the companies who work with Danny are fairly priced.
Let's not forget there are guys like Ruben who will make you a set of anything you like. Again very reasonably priced.
For those who think otherwise,,, try doing it yourself!!! It ain't easy!!!
Hi cOz and all Audio Circle members.
It might not be 100% DIY, but I did participate in the layout, choice of material, etc... For me, that's what I call managing DIY !
For your information, in case you or other Audio Circle don't know already, I bought from Danny one V1 and two V2 and one N3TL driver kit.
Danny's prices are good and his sub-suppliers also, however, please keep in mind that I am on the other side of planet earth and to get stuff here in Vietnam, I have to pay transport and custom duty tax, which makes everything mroe expensive.
That's the reason why I get some stuff made or assembled here in Vietnam.
I have to get those poor little Vietnamese working and busy, otherwise they will steal for a living... (LOL)
In a near futur, I will be doing business with Ruben, because as a Canadian I like to do business with my neibour the American and Ruben prices are good and his enclosures are hawsome...
I have decided to buy everything assembled ready to play music, I don't feel anymore getting my hands dirty...
The DIY is now DIBO (Do it by others) because everything will be for my soon to be business Audio 13.
