Had a great day in the shop today.. All the pieces are cut except the baffles "Mark I want to be sure so I may need the Lowthers for a few minutes

I have one of the spines routered other then the large radius and as you can see here temporarily placed in the base jig. The base will consist of 3 half inch pieces of mdf..

I also have to make the inserts that will be veneered a bloodwood..

Yes, everything will be painted minus the 2 inserts that will be veneered a bloodwood...

I'll have the new drawing up tonight with the change to incorporate a Lambda dipole 12

Thanks Scott!!!.. I'll have to whip up another once I get some funds together and bring it down.. I will have the changes made to accept the Lambda Dipole 12 from now on..

Got a little more work done today.. both spines are routed and ready for round over, bases, baffles and inserts..

Hammer, you are the router king! I am guessing that much of that is done freehand, outstanding. Fantastic looking design.

Thanks for the kind words Ed... yeah.. all I have is a jig saw and router table...lol.. made all of the sets with those tools... imagine when I have a fully stocked shop....

The bases are made and rounded over. All 4 inlays were made as well.. another great day to be working in this beautiful weather!!!

The only thing left to make are the baffles and how the terminals will mount then it's time for all the bodywork and prep for paint..

Hi guys, Love the looks and don't really understand the design. I have a pair of dx2s that have been sitting around for a couple of years. If you make 2 pair could we try my lowthers in one? I can bring them out and play all you want for as long as you want since I have been listening to my Cain and Cain Abbeys for a few years. Alex
