Relatively new here, but I saw the A/V-1RS on the website and was REALLY intrigued by them. Currently I am using Rocket RS450's for rear surrounds as well as RSS300's for side surrounds. I don't necessarily have the room for the RS450's in the back, which is why I am looking for a solution to solve that by using an on-wall design and I actually wouldn't mind using them for side surrounds as well, if they would work okay. That is where the intrigue in the A/V-1RS come in.
The problem lies with this, though...
I don't think I can build them myself. I don't have much time, I don't have the tools, nor really the know-how to do it. There is no way of getting these pre-made, correct?
I know that there was plans from Mark Schifter to make the X-OW, which seems very similar, but that's just too far off right now.
Looking at the design, how high or low on the wall are they supposed to be placed/or can they be placed without too much adverse affect? How close to the speaker can you listen to it without destroying the imagery? I just want to possibly get more information, in general.
