Turn them up a bit on Saturday so that we all can hear

Jim:

Do you still plan to solicit proposals for names for the HT4 from your customers?   I have been very patient.  :D

Yes, we probably will.  As soon as I have some pics and information to share, I'll post it all and see what we can come up with.  It ought to be an interesting exercise.

Not a bad name for certain.  But this speaker will have relatively little in common with the Veracity series speakers and specifically the HT3's.  About all it will have in common is a woofer from the same basic family of drivers.  All else is new.  So perhaps it might be time for a completely new name.

The "Beast" has been suggested.  :duh:

"Beast"--not very musical.   I have the perfect name, but if I told you, everyone would know what it looks like.

the Salk Baby Bottle?
Can you tell that I'm writing this with my baby daughter in my lap?

Nuance

I know it's probably too early to throw out names, but nonetheless: The Salk Pinnacle, because it's going to be the benchmark of sound at anywhere near this price range.

Revalator would be another good choice, due it being revolutionary concerning sound quality at this price range.

Based on purely looks: Salk Warhead or Salk Missile.

Poor Jim is going to need some of those bankruptcy attorney services if you guys keep suggesting trademarked names.

The drivers have all been selected, but we are not quite ready to talk about that yet.  We will do so when the forst prototypes are finish.  Then we will lay out all the details.

Don't you guys think you should wait for Jim to start a "name the speaker" thread?

Nice sketch there, Jim.  Almost holographic  :shake:

Looking forward to seeing the real deal...
