VERY roughly, I get about 40"H x 15"W. (The HT3 is 40"H x 12"W according to the Salk Sound Web site.) Not including plinths and spikes, of course!

So, they are not quite the beast after all. (Compared to my 60"x19"x17" mains).
Any info on what the weight might be?

I kind of lost track of the weight. But I do know that light can't escape.

D'oh! I wasn't thinking about the spacing between the two cabinets. BTW, you all can be thankful I didn't become a civil engineer. Close enough is only good on the Internet...

If they are so massive that light can't escape, they could be named the

Black Hole

Of course if it sucks up waves in the visible light range, with wavelengths hundreds of nanometers, what does it to audio frequency waves?

Don't know for certain since we have not weighed them yet. But my guess is that they will be north of 150 pounds each. Fortunately, they are in two sections so you will only need a forklift for the woofer sections

OK. I probably won't have time to post any information in the next few days, but we did take some photos today. Here is a full shot...
