Not sad at all, Chuck seems very happy and if he's happy with his "decorations" why should we care.

It's not every week that someone as interesting as Chuck comes along.

Here are just a few some "extremely" tweaked-out systems that I am pulling from my own web-surfing memories which use many of the same methods Chuck uses.  Are form and function mutually exclusive terms? You be the judge.

Francis Yip's System

Chris Brady of Teres fame's system

Steve Deckert's room

Hey Chucky,
how much caffeine have you imbibed today?
You pressed the "submit" button, what, 30 times?
:D
You need to be more respectful to you superiors.YOU can call me Mr.Josephson ,Your Majesty ,Your Royal Highness or better still dont call me at all if you know whats good for you!Your knuckles scrape on the floor when you walk.

I doubt an Electrical Engineer with a Ph.D. would call you Mr. Josephson...
Maybe Chucky...
After all, I call the CEO of my 40,000 employee company by his first name...
You need to calm down (after all you do practice yoga) and quit hurtling insults to people...

HERE, HERE,,, but ChosenOne, you might include those who would challenge him to the fight club also. Could be aweful embarrassing to have a 76 year old man KICKING YOUR ASS,,, talk about dampening vibration AT IT`S SOURCE! Sometimes it takes a little more tan weights/clay to fight ‘vibration’. Regards, Robin

Yeah...I was definitely busting out laughing :rotflmao: You are definitely WAY off the mark Chuck. I hope the youth aren't learning grammar, punctuation, and spelling from you. Maybe you're the grand daddy of ebonics

And as amusing as this all is...we're getting off topic of your pics and tweaks. I guess if you want to continue all the amusing attacks and comments we can move this to the Fight Club. It's up to you, as I find this funny.
Before you move this to the Fight Club ,you better move your bowels which is something you problably havent done in a long time.If you want to attack my abilities in teaching ,Im going to start an album in gallery with hundreds of testimonials from teachers who watched me in amazement to students
who say I am the best teacher they ever had.Watch for
it!I am not the one who starts these attacks, but I finish
them. You never answered any questions about yorself.
Where is your picture? You are a B.S. merchant and are
not fooling anybody. You arent man enough to give your real name. Are you ashamed of it?What are you afraid of.

Hey Chuck:

Aside from all the BS in the thread, I have to ask a question.  I have a Maxima which seems to be louder than it should as far as road noise up front.  This is a drone from the tires.  I finished all the tread on the Z-Rated Dunlops, and got some quieter Bridgestones, which helped considerably.  But it's still louder than a $30K car should be.

How'd you put your damping material on your Nissan, and what did you use?  Is it flame retardent?

Thanks,Hi, I use Michelin Tires on my 240SX.They are
the best you can get.I put most of the damping on myself wuth Dynamate Extreme .I doors and roof  I had
done. The hood has 2 layers of damping and Aluminum
covered foam to quiet motor noise.

Hey Chuck! I think you take the internet much too seriously. I personally could care less if you think I'm a 500 lb sumo wrestler or not. Although it is really hilarious to me  I could care less if you're a 16 year old, pimply, snot of a kid that stole all of these pics and ideas from someone else. I figured the fact that you seem to keep coming back for more meant that you, yourself, were getting some kind of kick and humor out of this thread. If you feel you are being attacked, then feel free to say, and we can move or split this thread to the Fight Club.

And just as a reminder, since you said, "(you are) not the one who starts these attacks," please recall your post that pulled this thread out from the dead. If you do not, read below. That sure looks like an attack to me that you started.

Pogue turned out to be a nice fellow but he called me a name so now everything is cooking again.Now--you and who
else are going to move this thread .The only contribution
you can make to this website is to go away so we can
get back to audio issues.Where is that picture and real name?Start an album in the Gallery! If this thread is moved there will be serious consequences and repercussions !!!

Let's talk Audio.
Chuck, I'm very interested to learn what you used to internally dampen your speakers. I doubt you wouldn't tweak them internally.
Could you tell us what you did?
I'm thinking of using dynamat extreme type material (maybe two layers sandwiched together, glued with asphalt or something sticky and "dead") egg-crate foam and polyfill.
What do you think? Not enough? any other ideas? thanks,
Andreas

Well A rare thing ,a question about audio.Im afraid you wont like the answer.Do not mess with the insides. The volume of space is predetermined. To perform at its best it must be mass
loaded with 100to 200 lbs.Super heavy speakers like Rockport cost a fortune. As you know ,I hang weights
on my speakers .You can use rope istead of chains so not to scratch the speakers. The people who laughed never tried it.The top corners of the speaker are dampened ,speaker is stabilized ,the center of gravity is
lowered.Speaker sounds 100% better.

Francis Yip's System

Chris Brady of Teres fame's systemI fail to understand your concern with the appearance of my room ,my grammar
etc.My audio work starts where those systems stop. They dont do 10% of what I do .You cant judge a book by its cover.I could walk in any of these rooms and improve its sound 500% I wrote a lot more here  and deleted it .Although it was very funny it was mean and nasty and you dont deserve it.I think you are a nice
well meaning person.,who doesnt understand what I am
doing.Fellows -I am thinking of putting my pics.back.if
I get enough requests.Let me hear from some of the 4700 people who are reading this thread.
