@james tanner - Will there be a new model coming soon? The BR-20 is over 4 years old and am wondering if a new model is being developed.

Unlikely, as the pre-amp is still relatively new for a Bryston. Anyway in my opinion it’s the very best Pre, DAC and streamer on the market. Just saying.😍

I’m a little confused. My BR-20 firmware says that it up to date 2022-10-05.

So what is 2023-10b ?

It's a firmware update that you do from the BCON side of of BR-20.

I'll contact Adam and see if I need it...

It appears that I have the new firmware when it went to back to PMC to fix a small issue which it turned out was a firmware issue.

The only difference I’ve noticed is that now when I power up it comes on at the same volume it was when I turned off. It used to come on at the volume it was set when first programmed.
