What a way to start the Friday morning.

Finally I got what I was waiting for 3 months.
The brand new album of CARCASS after 12 years. But this is a very limited edition surgical kit up to only 750 of them for world wide and I am holding the #74.

Everything is packed in 12 inch vinyl size, foil stamped deluxe box and here is what you get:
1. very rare picture vinyl
2. A2 size poster
3.DVD size steel book
4.12 page booklet
5.CD with bonus track

Could not resist stopping in at Goodwill after picking Lady Laundrew up from work on the way home - a lot of very interesting albums and many still factory sealed for the picking today. It is going to take weeks to get my collection properly organized after the listening room is finally completed. Perhaps it is time to start planning a high CD storage capacity option.

Starting to compare my purchases from last year to 2013. What is somewhat disappointing is that last year's purchases were not tracked as accurately as this years. I do have access to "previous" orders from some of the on-line sites so a comparison can be made in these instances. Just looking at CD Universe orders from last year and the numbers from 2013, are 181 CDs compared to this years CD Universe purchases of 112 CDs - so give or take with a couple of months to years end, these numbers are consistent.

Never considered purchasing any music when I walked into the store, however I am slowly beginning to believe that CD bargain bins must be occupying the same space as a Black Hole and all are drawn into it. Cygnus X-1 anyone

That is the tune I was specifically looking for, but for the life of me, could not remember the band or the name of the song

I went to one of the staff at Sonic Boom and started singing the lyrics that I could remember to her - she smiled and said that really sounds familiar and went to the computer. Smiling she said "Dead or Alive." Sonic Boom did not have any of their music, but I managed to buy the CD at HMV - their last one.
