Iggles by 8.  :o

How about them Saints! Finally put together a iron clad red zone defense and handed Atlanta their 1st loss.  :thumb:

Good week so far:

Lions continue their losing ways, losing to the Viqueens!
Giants get whipped by the Bungles!
Colts win!
Falcons lose!

Now all we need is a Bears victory to put the cherry on the sundae!  Or is it Sunday?
The Texans will be a good test.  I'm hoping for a victory but this will be a tough game. It's going to storm tonight and I'm hoping this helps the Bears.   Matt Forte will be the key!

Cheers

Jack

Glad you think it's a good week.      Sad to admit, but the Lions will indeed have a lost year.

Oh well.  We shall see about the Bears/Texans.  A good game to be sure.  8)

Freo - the Bears scare me today.   It's extremely windy today and supposed to storm.  That means a ground game.  In theory, this should help the Bears but they need to put the ball in the endzone more consistently.   The defense has been surpassing everyone's expectations.  They need to play at a high level to beat the Texans.

I'm pulling for the Iggles.   Want to see smoke come out of Jerry Jones' ears if the Boys lose again.

What's the weather like in Chi town?  Dallas ought to slay Philly.  Philly's coaches seems to be at a loss for keeping their QB standing.  Is their offensive coordinator on vacation or something?  Sorry for you Philly fans.  I'm pullin for you in this game cause I'm so bitter about the Cowboys.

Maybe you two could help support the other each Sunday?

The Cowboys jes ain't the Cowboys anymore to me, Sat, and I think you know the reason why.  Romo just hasn't got that killer instinct and I loath the owner.  He had a coach once in Jimmy Johnson who wouldn't play for him long term.  Good luck with him getting another one.  The Pokes should win today and with the Giants losing you can't, er, I can't, count them out.  Hang in there.

Jerry, I KNOW you're happy.  Me, too.  Perfect for Atlanta to fall to dem Saints.  Brees is the man.

Yep, a win is a win.  Our good athletes beat the Eagles good athletes, but both of these clubs have a long way to go to be good teams.

Ugh. Cutler out with a concussion.

But for all the ugly of the 1st half from a Bears POV, it is amazing that we are only down a touchdown.

The Bears aggressive defense has made it a close game imo. It's a fun game to watch for someone who's a fan of neither team.  :icon_lol:

I like these guys a lot.  Shouldn't want to miss a game with SF?

Chicago's Brian Erlacher is a beast!  He looks like he barely can fit under his helmet.  Man, that guy is scary.

Houston done me proud.  Haven't been able to say that about my other Texas team in years and it's a pity.  I guess they have a shot at the NFC East, tho, depending on if the G'aint's can't get it together.  Wha happened?

Now, perhaps we all better understand that predictions can go ppffft pretty darn fast.  "Da Bears" are a more ordinary team (as would just about any top tier team) wittout the starting QB.

That was a tough game for me to watched.  The Bear defense was superior but they had no offense and the turnovers killed their chances.  Especially those red zone turnovers.   The hit on Cutler was very cheap and brutal. I was really hoping the Bears would have returned the favor on Schaub.  Teams need to pay a price for those kinds of plays and I'm not talking about fines.  A helmet to the knee from Peppers would have been a fair trade.
