Someone from above was watching over my Cowboys today,,,,,, oh yeah, it was the referees. 3 questional calls at the end helped shut down Dallas's 2 game losing streak. Oh well, an ugly win's still a much needed win.  8)

Both 4:00pm NFL games were tied 23-23 at the 2 minute warning, what are the odds of that?  :o  8)

Jacksonville Jag's/Oakland Raiders

What the ----?  Man, Sanchez can't win for losing.  That was the best I have ever seen him play!  He was really good today.  Yet he single handedly lost the game.  Geez, he must be in shock.  What will the NY papers say about him tomorrow :duh:.

Interesting weekend for Pro football.  Indianapolis-Tennessee with the point spread going for Tennessee, Indy may pull an upset here.  New England-St. Louis easy, right?  Look for a much closer game that the 7 points quoted.   Atlanta vs my Philadelphia Eagles, the Eagles will loss by a touchdown or more.  Seattle at Detroit, the dog Seattle could win outright.  Washington at my Steelers, without "The Hair" to contain RG3, Pittsburgh may come up short.

"Antoinette" Romo.  He is just one of a lot of people who have talent, but don't have leadership ability or a strong enough constitution.  I've had it with this version of the Cowboys.  Time for Jerry Jones to eat some crow and move on.  Ya can't give Romo better targets, that's not the problem, and I think the offensive players are losing if not have lost confidence in him.  Time to change QB's.  But, Jerry Jones is smarter than me.  Well, tonite his mirror may have shattered.  One of the things that JJ could be concerned about is what could he get for him.  He's damaged goods.  I mean he's had all this time to improve and lead,  Miss Romo just ain't got the goods.  In my opinion, of course.

It's scary to watch how good Peyton Manning can be when there is a real running game. Glad to see him back in top form  :thumb:

Just curious, who have you got in mind to take his place? Anyone  I know?

Tony Romo and Jerry Jones will forever have something in common,,, diehard Dallas Cowboy fans (like me) are stuck with them, for better or worse, til death do them part.

Worse?? Can it get any worse than the first 18 minute of that Giants game.  I've been a fan since Meredith, but I'm ready for a change.  Sit Romo next week and play Orton.  Sit Dez and start anyone else. If they lose to Atlanta, so what.  Garrett has to hold someone accountable instead of the same old dribble of "We have to protect the ball better"
Thank god we have a Princeton man to figure that out for us.  My allegiance to this team is really being tested.

As a die hard Giants fan the Giants were lucky to have won this game.  They did next to nothing on offense and if not for all the Cowboys misques it may have been a diffetrent outcome.  Blowing a 23-0 lead  almost always leads to bad things but fortunately for the G-men they hung on and found a way to win.  The schedule only gets alot harder from here on :thumb:

Might be best if they got a divorce.  The team deserves a real QB.  Prolly not any veteran QB's want to go there.  I would say the need a real owner, too, except that isn't an option.

Not a good game by the Giants, but I will take the win.  The Giants could of and should of, obliterated the Cowboys if they had played anything like they did in the previous weeks, but they didn't.  I give the Cowboys defense a lot of credit for playing tough and keeping their team in the game.

Thankfully, the Cowboys play calling and strategy at the end of the game stunk (a noticeable trend).  While the Cowboys are a dangerous team for any one game, I don't think they are a legitimate playoff team.  Too inconsistent, too soft, and too poorly coached.  While Romo will take the brunt of it, I really think that the coaching should get a lot more blame.

The Wembley game was a disaster for the cardiac Rams... Let's just get back home and get back to business. We need to replicate the first score of the game in London a few more times till we can be considered fully rid of our losing ways. Fisher can do it with the right bodies on the gridiron. :thumb:

Yeah, too bad they lost.  I think of them as the new kid on the block and have been liking what I've seen of them.  They'll be ok.

+1 They might be the most improved team in the league since the season began. Folks are getting comfortable with PM and vice versa, plus the defense is playing much better. The worst part of their schedule is behind them.

Seahawks lost to the Lions?  The Lions are a crap team and I may have overestimated the Seahawks talent level.  They are a young team and have already played over their heads, and have benefitted from some bad officiating.   This is a strange year and nothing surprises me. The Panthers gave the Bears a scare yesterday.  Thankfully, the real Panthers showed up just in time to give away the game.

Ya think?  I felt that way since the 2nd game of the season. It was especially disappointing to see the same ole on again/off again play after my Cowboys played such a stellar 1st game of the season in NY. I thought they might have just turned the learning curve and finally had a year where they might just have all the pieces of the puzzle in place.

While on any one week, the Dallas Cowboys can be a dangeous foe for any team, the same holds true for the vast majority of NFL teams. But a playoff team in 2012? I'm afraid I'm agreeing with George.  :duh: BUT it will not damper my resolve to support the "Boys" each week regardless,,,, from a lifetime Red Sox fan who knows how to suck it up for the long term.

Cheers,
Robin
