There are two different version of Big Black Base.

Round edges and shiny rectangular pieces under top mica,it's hard to imagine a tiny  piece can make the sounds so different.

A pic of my Decware SE 84Cex that I got from fellow AC member morganc. I have placed it in a hand rubbed teak enclosure which has a 2" greenheart slab as the base.

Hi gcos and all Audio Circle members.

May I ask why the wood base of your Decware SE84 is so thick/deep?
I am also the happy owner of a Decware SE84C+

I am now using Electro Harmonix tubes,
but later on I would like to up-grade with Tung Sol tubes ?  ? ?

Hi Guy,
I thought it a neater alternative to putting the amp on a slab. So I incorporated it into the enclosure. All for stability and elimination of unwanted resonances. The larger enclosure also shows off the wood grains more  thus making it more visually appealing.

Hi daves and all Audio Circle members.
May I (we) have a short description of (All) your tube equipment.
(Brands and models)
How about your speakers, I did not see any ?
Your (Working) collection of tube audio is very impressive.
