Room heater you say !

I would call my audio stuff: a furnace.

I would like to listen to some music today,
but now in (Saigon) Vietnam it's 35C/95F
My 12,000 BTU air conditioner even at maximum,
can only bring down the temperature down by one or two degrees.

But I will not send or anybody else my tube amplifier,
because one day, I will be back in Canada and there in January,
I need some heaters or tube amplifiers, the same.

Hi Guy,
You maybe happy. Here things are much hotter this year.
In Dec2012 we had various days over 40ºC, and even 47ºC or 117ºF.

First version Date code 640 R6C R=Mitcham factory,6=1956,C=March.Double support square getter,wrinkle glass.
Second version Date code 640 R6H.same as first version but top mica have more edges

Third version,same as Second version but with shinny T shade metal piece on top mica.
Four version, same as Third but T shade metal not shinny.

If your preamp are this big, how size is your power amp?
