Nobility is a Chinese audio furniture design / manufacturer company specialized in solid wood audio furniture with their unique 'sound caviar' filled in the chambers, plus magnetic levitation design.

Magnetic levitation?  Please explain.

Here is a picture of the rack - one picture is worth 1000 words :)

Aah...actually no. Words are needed.

For example, please describe the control of the strong magnetic field surrounding the very powerful permanent magnets required to suspend any significant weight. A strong magnetic field would make the device virtually unusable, since there are sensitivities to such fields from a number of audio products.

I don't have technical background but let's give it a shot :)

- the magnets are filled in the hold of the wood frame so they align to each other properly plus magnetic force between the two magnets will keep them in place

- the magnetic filed is between the two magnets only which are below the top rack. audio equipment is placed on top of the gear, so the field will not affect the gear

- there are magnets at all 4 corners so the rack is stable

We used the rack with turntables, CD player and amps at CES. No interference detected. We used wireless DAC with the rack as well - signal is fine. I don't know what other equipment you may have in mind but it appears common audio equipment works fine with the magnetic device.

No problem for helping out with Consonance amp. They are a good company but things happen. Glad things work out for you.

Price of the furniture from Nobility will be available next week when factory is back to normal work schedule. Group Buy will have discount at least 25% off MSRP to start - the more people join, the better deal we can get and save on shipping. I will let everyone know price sometime next week.

There is also the problem of how to maintain alignment of the magnets without a guide or stabilizing mechanism, which would create a mechanical coupling between the two magnets, therefore sacrificing complete isolation. I'm not convinced the wood frame provides the alignment.

I doubt you measured interference at CES. But if you did, please publish the results.

Your explanation is lacking, but whatever. Over and out.

ok, finally I got the price quote and worked out the shipping, duties, customs and everything else in between.

Please go to this link to check out the group buy price - please note that the GB price is based on minimum $10,000 order so that we can qualify for these discounted price.

https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B06Slh1HJxoKNTlmZTg2MmMtMThlYy00ZTRjLThkNGUtNzMxYjFkYzRlMWJj&hl=en

The quoted price is FOB Las Vegas with USA duty paid by Grant Fidelity. Shipping from Las Vegas to buyer's address will be extra - you can refer to the package size and volume weight to get an approx quote from UPS or FedEx website. We ship by Ground transportation only.

Just checked - it was set up as everyone with the link can access. No password required. I tried - logged out my own google account and click on the link I put in the thread, it works fine and the .pdf file opens.

Google docs help files says any file can be uploaded.

Any IT expert? I don't know what else I should do.

How much is shipping????

you can use the provided dimensions of the package in the price list and go on UPS.com or FedEx.com to check shipping rate. We cannot offer flat rate shipping as products vary a lot. As a rule of thumb, use $1.00/lb to estimate shipping should be sufficient.

Hi Rachel,

Apologies, but one item I requested was not included, WMP-1A Mk II, perhaps due to not enough interest.

Also after careful consideration I discovered my initial choice of SRW-4B will not work due to the clearances of the two middle shelves is only 148mm (~5.8 inches).

The only other unit I might be interested in is the WPS-3B but it is no longer listed on Guizu website and I need the clearance dimensions to make sure it will be useable for me.  Can you provide these measurements?

Thank you,
Jake

Good, I am not going blind.   I was going to ask about the lack of WMP 1A MK II too.

WMP 1A MKII will definitely be included for the Group Buy. I am still adding new models to the list today. Yesterday's is just a part of the catalog. I promised to publish the price by 24th Feb so I posted what I can then.

IMHO, those 3 or 4 level rack with the magnetic top shelf is the best deal - I was surprised that no one on this thread has expressed such an interest yet..???

Whoops!  I missed the fact that some of the racks had a built in mag lev shelf!  Help us out as to which models?  I really need a double wide rack as I don't have room for all the sources I want in my system.

Thank you very much,
Jake
