Nathan,
looks good!  What if the dot over the "i" was something musical or audio-related: a bass or treble clef or a tube???  Or a Shun Mook Mpingo disc??

Don't worry. I have been saving these pictures and putting them on a page on my website. After a few more, I will publish the page and see what others think.

I truly like many of the logos so far. Thanks everybody!!!

I really like the effort put into this one but wondering if it might be a bit morbid for consumers to view??

I will be posting all these logos on my website this evening and see what others have to say.

Thanks again for all the cooperation on this venture. There has been much more participation than I had expected.

How do we vote on your website?

I like #3 11 months of the year, I like #6 in October,  The Rams Ass is just cool...too bad it's copywrited.

For voting, I think I will set up a check box next to each and a place to mark the letter (for those with multiple logos). For now.....email?

There were several really good ones, but I've been watching a lot of American Chopper these days and would suggest something that has a Chopper vibe.  I'm not the artist but Nathan could probably whip something up.

Before you think this is off the wall, choppers are modded motorcycles and you specialize in modded audio gear!  That's the connection.  And if you like Choppers, the MAN is Billy Lane.  Jesse who?  Check out some of these bikes for inspiration:

Good luck!

When the new logo is picked, is the slogan/tag line "Our Reputation Says it All" going to change?

What does a reputation say, exactly?  It sounds like a combination of 2 somewhat ambiguous cliche's: "Our Reputation Speaks for Itself" and "Our Name Says it All"  It's also not clear to me why this business is called 'Response Audio'... A family business that sells tube gear = Response Audio.  I don't get it.

So, why not have no slogan, and just a logo.  I pick Logo 4.  I like Logo 1-b better but, your products don't really correlate to any of the specific designs.  1-b would be great for a used vinyl store.  The current slogan doesn't give me enough info to pick a style, either so, something clean and simple would probably be best.

I like a lot of Tyrro's logo's but, I don't see a fit for the image.  I especially like logo 7-h.  I just think it's cool.

I'm being critical because you asked for it... It's intended to be constructive and not a put-down in any way.  I have this kind of conversation with new business owners about once every other month.  Take what you can and use it.  Good luck.

When this business was started, it was primarily designing and building custom speakers. At the time "Response" fit the bill nicely.

"Our Reputation Says it All"

We do have a very good reputation and for those who have followed our work and customer service over the years agree.  With this business being originally based throughout the Internet only, reputation is all there is to go on. I do believe people feel much more confortable knowing they are dealoing witha  company with a reputable background.

If you have followed any of my other post throughout the other circles, you will realize that this is exactly why I feel very comfortable asking for "opinions" here.  Constructive criticism is never taken as a put-down by myself. Outside opinions and ideas are always welcome. This is a great bunch of people here and never a dull moment. I have yet to see an onslaught of flames around here. Kinda like an online boys night out.

In that last batch, 'A' is pretty cool, IMO.

I also like the last batch. There are quite a few designs here that I am quite interested in.

As mentioned, I will be redesigning the site shortly but have not decided if a new logo is in order. I am leaning towards starting redoing the whole look of the site, including a logo.

At this time, I am trying to learn as much about my seb software as possible. I am obviously not a web designer but truly enjoy being able to update things on a daily basis. It may not be the most advanced site but it is informative and up to date. It now needs to be more user friendly. I have learned a lot more about the program over the past few days. I came across many features I didn't even know were there. I have to give a lot of credit to people who spend the time to learn how to maximize the full potential of computers and especially web design.
