All I know who signed up yesterday have received at least one (in some cases two) confirmatory emails reserving a personalized (i.e., first 3000) copy.

I got an email confirmation early this AM: I'm on track for one of the first 3,000 copies...

Looks like my persistence with the site [before they announced the email reservations] has paid off and one of my many tries actually made it through!!!

I have a pre-order confirmation message, with confirmation number and personalization entry listed... ALSO received the reservation confirmation email.

So, I guess I have one on order and one reserved for ordering. yay.

Looks like things are finally straightened out and my order is officially confirmed.

While it was a PITA, it's over and now comes the hard part of waiting till September.

What a drain: Another email, go to a url, input the code from the email... At least I got to personalize my copy. Amazing that all 7,200 pieces sold in four days. I wonder how many went to speculators.

Now that I have a confirmation code, all I have to do is wait PATIENTLY until September.

Europe '72 box set folks should have gotten an email with a link to download Playing In The Band from 14 April. Even as a 320 kbps MP3 file, the sound quality is great. Apparently, the download is free (as in beer) to One And All:

That's what I thought too. You can go through the download process through the link on the front page @ dead.net. You do not have to be logged in to your account to see any of this.

You are prompted for an email address (then emails the download link). I used an email address not associated with my purchase of the box set, and it all worked fine. ~~The message is slightly different: By accepting the download, you agree to be on the dead.net mailing list.~~ Actually, it is the same message.

Actually, I'm listening to the June 28th show now and I'm thinking my use of the word "superb" might be underselling these recordings. Well, I haven't listened to the 27th yet, but if it's anywhere near the quality of the other 3, it's worth having.
