Hi James

I was at my Dealers place today.Dave B was the man who was responsible for getting Howling wolf here in the 70's and even drove him here to perform. How I wish I was older than my name would lead one to believe. Are you a fan of the Blues/and or MR. Wolf?

I said it before but I'll say it again here officially.

Allman Brother Fillmore East sacd hybrid, cd layer transferred to cd-r.

I've been playing these two tracks everyday since I got the album. 'In Memory of Elizabeth Reed' & 'Whipping Post'. I can't get enough of the awesome guitar playing of Duane Allman, it is to die for. Played on the BCD-1 you won't hear it sound better on any other format. :guitar: :drums: :guitar:

Blue Man Group- How to be a Megastar, dvd,cd

If you've heard Blue Man Complex, this dvd is pretty much a remake of that concert. The sound on Dolby Digital 5.1 is quite good but not spectacular. Drums and percussion are a little heavier and more dominant than Complex Tour.

This dvd also comes packaged with a cd version of the concert minus a few songs.
IMO the cd played on the BCD-1 is an absolutely spectacular recording. Easily more transparent than the dvd version played on my Sony NS9100ES. Care must be taken with the volume as the slam, hard hitting percussions, will crap yourself if not prepared for the assault.

The cd thus makes How to Be a Megastar a worth while purchase even if you already own Complex for the BCD-1.

For all the gamers out there. This piece of music is beautiful. It's from an up coming Video Game called Interstellar Marines.
This is being made without the help of big corporations so it's a labor of love for these guys and galls. They've been making it since 2006.

SRV  Was able to use his blues/Jazz skills and take it to new levels of musicianship, while at the same time showing Soul,Passion, that still reverberates for those who have the heart of understanding to get it.

Enjoy

Fleetwood Mac- The Dance dvd/video

Okay, I'm late on this one.

They had a concert in our city 2 weeks ago. I didn't go and I couldn't name one of their songs.

Surprisingly I discovered this concert dvd in the collection my friend gave to me. I heard this stuff on the radio for years.

Well, let me tell you this concert performance shames anything played on the radio.  An excellent sounding band with very skilled musicians to boot.

A dvd probably everyone already owns.

No wonder they're so popular! :green:

You can't go wrong with John Coltrane. 'Meditations' or 'Transition.' I was listening to some late nite Coltrane jazz, and it sounds absolutely wonderful through the Bryston equipment.  8)
