Regarding the firewall, It's the basic MS stuff that comes with Windows XP.So to recap what I've got, the SB shows these:(4 of 18): IP Address 192.168.0.1(8 of 18): SlimServer 192.168.0.1(14 of 18): Host name 192.168.1.102
Every few minutes, Windows gives me an error message: "There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network" with the yellow exclamation point in the task bar.
Wayne - (it is Wayne, isn't it?)

Does your Squeezebox work if you hook it up wired?
Nice doors btw... Would they be expensive to ship to NY? Just a single doorMike

The router IP address is unknown and no utility was installed on the PC to control it.I hard coded the IP address of the SB3 to be 192.168.1.101 so there are no conflicts there.Pinging the default IP of the router (linksys - 192.168.1.1) I get nothing. Same when I tried the 192.168.0.1 he said things had previously. The thing I'm unsure of is when I hardcode the IP for the network card in the PC, I'm not sure what that's doing to the router IP - if anything.
