Hiya Guys,

Just a quick bump.

If you guys wanted to bring some other goodies like; baked beans, chips and dip, veggie trays, fruit, salads, deserts, or anything else that sounds tasty that would be great. As always, I've got the premium spirits and soft drinks covered but since I don't drink beer you may want to bring your own. Oh, you may want to bring a cooler or two for the brews as both refrigerators will likely get packed with food.

Do me a favor and let me know if you are bringing a side dish so we can figure out where we need to fill in.

Hey Guys,

Just thought you might want to know, at the Blowout we're going to have Doug Weil for Clearly Resolved do an ISF video calibration demonstration on my Mits 62628/Oppo 938H/DirecTV HR21-200. I'll get the picture as close as I can with Avia and DVE and then we'll turn Doug loose with his calibration instruments. Should be fun seeing the differences not to mention we'll see if we can't turn him over to the dark side

Sorry, back to the side dish question.

Hmmm.   Thought I just posted this but it's not there - must be a senior moment...

Grant and his significant other are not going to make it so cut me back to 3 instead of 5.

Scott,

It'll be on the late side before I arrive, but I can bring some kind of dessert.

Doug ISF'd my Pioneer rear projection tv and did a super job.

Hi Scott,
I'm looking forward to the blowout.
I'll bring a Watergate Salad if you still need salads?

Hi Joe,

Sure, bring the salad. We still need some side dishes.

Hey Sturgus, is Cynthia bringing her baked beans? They're yummie  :thumb:

Looks like we should be sunny and 80 degrees on Saturday (if you can believe the forecast this far out). Should be a perfect weather day  :green:

Hey Scott,

My wife Sarah and friend Kevin will be coming along with me. So count us in for a total of 3. Sarah will probably bring a side dish of some sort or appetizer.

Thanks,

Rick

Since I'm coming solo, I won't ask my wife to cook something for my buddies. I've always felt weird about that.
As the end draws near Scott, let me know what we're lacking and I'll pick something up on the way. I do some cooking myself, but not much in the way of appropriate 'sides' or deserts. Unless everybody wants a big fatty of a grilled potato with ALL the fixins'?  I've gotten pretty good at those.   aa
Let me know what you need, either a store bought side or the taters.
Caution: {The taters will take up quite a bit of acreage on your counter top with all the little bowls of fixins'}

Scott,

Sorry for not posting sooner, but I won't be able to make it.  I was hoping our other plans would fall through, and I could shake free. :banghead:
Everyone have a great time and I'll try to catch up later.

Just a quick post. Thought I'd share a pick of Ryan's speakers that will be in one of the upstairs rooms on Saturday. They'll be mated to Tim's McIntosh integrated with a Bolder SB, the Paradisea and a turntable.

Three days and counting.

If anyone needs directions, PM me and I'll send you the particulars.
