Arthurs - That is just sooooo over the top nice!!! Congrats on a lot of hard work. I'm sure the LS6's are killer in there too. My wife, of course, asked "where did they get those cool vertical paper lamps?"

Beautiful room.
If there's any chance of getting rid of the ceiling fan, it's a sure-fire way for a quick quantum improvement in sound quality!

The tubes are made of rigid fiberglass pipe covers (9", 16" and 22") then sytuffed with fiberglass and fabric wrapped. The speakers are the prototype LS-6's that Danny Richie of GR Research is doing with AV123.

Thanks for the compliments guys, it sounds pretty incredible and is pretty good visually as well. I wanted to give a shout out to Bryan Pape, Ethan, and Denny (daygloworange) who were all pretty significant help and encouragement in helping me figure out the tubes as I went, thanks fellas.

I would also be remiss if I didn't once again mention that I am married to the best wife an audio nerd could have, she did the painting of the room, the wrapping of the tubes, and continues to surprise me with her patience and support of my mad pursuit.....

ceiling fan in an upstairs room in Texas is a "must have" in the summer months...I'll just have to learn to live with the sound as it is....

You must have a peach for a wife. That's a beautiful room you have there for listening. Many guys are lucky to have a little place in the basement to call their man-cave. A nice big room like that is a nice benefit.
