can no longer hold you responsible for your behavior.

I've kept mum for the most part here, but that was pretty f*ing funny. (grammar aside)

Chuck-We can't give our real names because we're all under the federal witness protection program. You really should change your moniker to "Chuck The Genius"-that's a great one :D

Chuck, the reason you haven't heard from all those people who viewed your pictures is because they are a JOKE.  It's so absurb it's laughable.  Sonics doesn't even enter into it.  One look and people are aghast with the ultimate garishness and clutter of that room.  Like Eric The Red said, this is what the "Deep End" looks like!  It's not the idea, it's the absurdity of the execution that's causing you to catch so much grief here.

And let's say these eye-gouging tweaks are really effective, ...
Nathan ,just checked out your system.not bad .I use sennheiser 600 too with headroom max amp going to replace cable with 20ft cardas cabe I also the auroflex foam .good stuff.chuck

I've changed my mind Chuck. Instead of "Chuck The Genius" how about " Chuck I'm Full Of Myself" Josephson :?:   Your listening room would be a big hit at the Oregon Country Fair's drum circle.

:rotflmao:  Hey guys, I wish you the best of luck in your future discussions about glopping putty onto AC receptacles and cords.  It will be a hoot I'm sure.

Chuck, out of all that all you can find to comment on are the site's smiley GIFs?  Erm, okay.  So much for "bringing (me} to my knees". Have a nice day.
Nathan ,Instead of worrying about the appearance of my room why havent you done any thing about your own physical appearance from your picture
you dont look well.Do you have any mirrors in your home?

Is this the legendary Chuck Josephon "humor" and "wit"?  What a crushing disappointment!  For being 73 Chuck writes and acts more like a teenager.  I can see you were not an English teacher at your school.  He's got no spaces after the sentences, but spaces before the commas?  What the heck?

If you don't like the way I look, well that's your problem. However, personal appearance doesn't factor in the ability to properly converse on an online message board, whereas English does.  Written English seems to be something you are struggling with, much like the form\function conundrum I spoke of eariler.  Funny how your tweaks look more like the unrefined mess a person would come up with when first starting out in this hobby rather than a mature approach one would expect from an audiophile who has been at it for 55 years.  It just doesn't make sense.

Writing these messages  is purely about communication.
grammar spelling punctuation have nothing to do with it
and I dont need little yellow balls to do it.All that concerns me are my ideas which are deep and profound.
Now I have something very serious to tell you .Pay very
close attention. If you are so concerned about good taste in decor ,what about musical taste?I see that you
play mostly heavy metal rock on your system.which appears to be a good one .Your room treatment is OK
but could be improved. This rock music is the most destructive force unleashed  on the youth of the world.
It is inspired by drugs ,and performed by druggers. It will
destroy your nervous system and your brain cells. It produces chaos .Good music harmonizes and lifts your
mind and soul. Our bodies are goverened by natural rhythms .The rock beat opposes them and rips them apart. It is evident that so many of these so called musicians have destroyed their lives. It is strong proof that there is a real devil and hell.that seeks to destroy
us.YOU insult your nice music system by playing this garbage on it.The systems that they use at their concerts are loud PA speakers full of distortion and thats
all you need to play back this crap ,Not the fine equipment you have.Music is a gift from God and should
be used properly. You need to go deeper in life and stop
worrying about superfical things like grammar or decor.
Get some great records by Mozart Beethoven,Bach, and
many more.Good jazz is very creative .Ellington Armstrong Billie Holliday Diana Krall and so many more
will bring joy to your soul.As a musician studied in harmony theory counterpoint in music I can tell you
that rock music has nothing of value in harmony melody
or musical structure .Its only purpose is to make money,
from the gullible zombies it creates.THis is not intended as a joke and what I have to tell you is true.

As Ever ,Chuck Josephson

As TEACHER you don't think spelling and grammar matters, eh?  Okay, fine.  I'm glad I wasn't born in New Jersey and GONE to your class, I might've turned out a real idiot! :P  <-- Little yellow circle! Oh no!

Your ideas are not exactly deep and profound, they are quite common knowledge in the field of acoustics.  Hemholtz resonators, mass loading, absorptive\reflective\diffusive surfaces etc. none of this is something of your invention.  And I am certainly not saying they are all invalid either.  Simply that you have carried them out in the most ugly and unrefined manner which yes, is a subjective opinion (which just happens to bring lots of laughs) And this wire "damping" thing reminds me of something I would've liked to see on a Monty Python sketch.

As far as your pitifully cliche-filled tirade on heavy metal I will say this; I have heard this weak, uninformed opinion a thousand times.  It's old hat.  Personal opinions are one thing and certainly heavy metal is not for everybody, but a person who writes off an entire genre of music with a few hamfisted sterotypical phrases strikes me as one who truly does not appreciate the power of music of ANY kind, regardless of whether they like it or not.

I appreciate music of all kinds and yes, there's some I dislike deeply.  But I would never in a million years cough up this crap about a genre of music being 'proof of a real devil and a real hell'.  Nonsense to say the least.  You have no idea what music is in my collection nor do you have any grasp of its merits.  How do you know that I do not enjoy the works of classical composers? How do you know that heavy metal does not "lift my mind and soull"?  Well I have news for you Chuck, it does.

I agree that many PA-amplified shows are full of distortion, but that goes for any genre, not just metal.  I do agree with you there.  Live music is something which often does grate on my nerves, but that has little to do with the musical style.

Perhaps it is true certain artists exist just to make money, but this is not the type of bands I listen to.  What you describe is more of a mainstream thing, which is definitely not what I'm into.

I am working on my room treatment, and the photos shown in the gallery are not at all current.  I am in the process of making some diffusors actually.  The reason I am railing on you so much is not so much of your room, but simply because you were a jerk right off the bat and reacted to the inevitable responses of your cryptic messages and photos with childish insults instead of a good sense of humor.

Your room is wonderfully crazy Chuck, but your ideas about music are in the Dark Ages.

to admit I have spiced up your site. From now on my lips
will remain sealed and nathan and others can make sport
of me to their hearts content.Go ahead and start picking my bones fellows.but remember this one fact.My system sounds better than all of yours put together.and thats all that counts and one more thing nathan .If I had you in my class I could make you sit with your hands folded and mouth shut the whole day and I wouldnt let you go to the bathroom or get a drink of water.

Oh?  Is this the standard punishment for those who make a solid argument against the "teacher" who can find nothing to respond to aside from one grammar mistake? (By the way thank you Chuck, I have corrected this oversight!) We're not in your classrom Chuck, and the idea of suppressing free speech in such a manner is one surefire way to let true evil into the world; not your fairy tale devils, demons and gods.

Go back to your small little world of puritanical ignorance and bother us no more.
