It is true. I am not going to argue about it. The person that is Audiodilbert knows me very well. While I did not ask him or tell him to place the post the damage is done. I just found out a little while ago that this person owns that moniker.

Anyway, I just got a shipment caps and i am going to the lab to work. I wil be back later to see how much of my butt is left. All I can do about it now, is continue working to fill my orders laugh about it and ask my friends not to be so zealous in helping me succeed. I apologize to all.

i posted the thread, knowing there mite be a possibility of self-promotion, but, since the di/o was such a nice piece, especially when modded, i figured it may be worthwhile checking out a $200 amp... if it's good, the word will out, & diy mods will make their way into public knowledge. jeez, for only $200, & a 30-45 day return possibility, i'm tempted to try one myself, even tho i'm happy w/my present amplification...

Uh, where did I curse you out? I just called it like I see it, and then offered for you to come totally clean on the whole thing. Suggesting that perhaps if you didn't want to that or it wasn't palatable for you that you could also just walk away. If you're under the impression that was "tough banter" you ain't been around long....

Oh, and just for reference, if you're in a position where you've potentially got some pretty serious egg on your face I wouldn't say the best option for retribution is flinging shit all over the place trying to make other people look bad. You've done it to Eric the Red here and at the Asylum about some SACD mod and now it appears that you're aiming at me.

I don't know what happened with Eric, nor do I care, but from where I sit you're just digging yourself deeper.

If you don't care about erics issue why bring it up. I was not attempting to sling anything at eric. I simply stated that I think he was upset that I agreed that the dude that owns sacdmods.com is shooting him a fair price and I am not going to try to beat it (not for what I would have done to the unit). I could have told him oh yeah his mod sounds like garbage, i can do much better. That is not true, he sounds like he is very capable and asking a fair price. I am not going to let you half spit something out there about the conversation eric and I had and not give the full 411 on the story. I am not mad at eric or anyone, I simply told eric I could not perform the mod for less than $200 and even then I am not comfortable about it because of the limitation on the parts I would have had to have used.

Uh Don-I hate to tell you this, but I never asked you about getting my sacdp modded nor did we discuss anything remotely near my SACD player, modded or otherwise. And I've never been in contact with SACDmods in my life. I emailed you several times on YOUR mods and THAT'S IT. I live in the same town as Stan Warren and am going to have him mod it eventually as Stan is a real stand up guy and has an excellent reutation . PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT before you go dragging my name into this bullshit mess that you've created for yourself. You're losing customers one shovelfull at a time dude.

Nothing to deflect. I told you, you don't believe it. i am not going to beg anyone for anything. I do mods, the amps great people are ordering the unit and that's it. Don't buy it if you don't want to. There is your solution.

After all is said and done, think about it: when's the last time a sockpuppet's posts on audio boards generated so much interest in a product plus generated so much free advertising hehe?
