Also, do a trace of just the sub and just the speaker, and then both together so we can see all 3 traces overlaying each other.

You should be able to plot all at once. And I would run the sub on out until it rolls off and the speaker at full range so you can see the crossover point.

If you change the scale on the sub to the scale of the other then you can see more accurately how they compare. Not sure why you are making separate plots though. RUn one, change the speaker settings, and run it again and both plots should be available to see on the same graph. Don't make separate files of them.

Very nice.  If you're using Roon as your player, you can dial in a notch filter at 49hz and another one at 300hz.  I'd start at -6db for each, and play around with the Q to see which setting gets you the best response.

You might also try turning the sub's crossover a little higher.  There's that small dip at 200hz that a bit more range on the sub might help to fill in.

Thanks for the reply. Were all analog here at this point. What's roon? A streaming service?
 I'll dial up that crossover.

Yes, Roon is a way to play digital music, including streaming.

There should also be an EQ setting on the sub's amp.  Here's how to set it.

1. Flip the PEQ switch to "On" so the EQ is enabled.
2.  Set the Frequency to 49hz
3. Set the gain to -8
4. Set the bandwidth to right in the middle.

Re-measure after making these changes & see if the big bump is ameliorated at all.
