So the No-Rez sticks to the whole surface of the inside of the cabinet rather than just the peaks of the humps. Without it sticking well, I don't think you'd get much benefit from the No-Rez.
Hey pinkfloyd4ever,
I'll tell you right now that the No-Rez did
not stick to the water putty. Like, 0%. Take it out, and touch the adhesive and it's super sticky. Push it as hard as you can against the water putty... and it just falls as if there is no adhesive. Wiping the inside down didn't help.
I was starting to question if this dried thin mixture could be the culprit, and if I should have mixed it thicker.
Does it need to be stuck to work?
I'm past the point of correction, but I guess maybe I could have went out and bought some heavy duty spray adhesive or something. The way it is in now, the circuit board is so tight in there, that I can't imagine the No-Rez will move in the least bit. At this point I'd guess worst case scenario is that non-stuck No-Rez is better than no No-Rez

Speakers are assembled, I just have to get all the pictures together into a post.
No issues taking out the posts, luckily I didn't have to cut them! Though that would have given me an excuse to upgrade them. Just a tiny bit of glue on only one of them.
