If you watch the replay from a certain angle, you will notice that Butler cut in from behind Lockette. I believe he was invisible when Wilson let fly. The timing was impeccable and probably unintentionally so. But it worked out for the Pats just so. The most amazing thing to me is that Butler was able to see the pass coming. He must have reacted in a nanosecond. Or he knew exactly what to expect and played it perfectly.
Either way we have been spared all the obnoxious crowing and gesticulating from Sherman and his fellow tasteless idiots. That's what I'm celebrating.
