The thread Bob references is the Gravity Well of a Darkstar, started by Dmason (not heard from in years) in 2005. I entered that thread as the 3rd poster, and it ultimately took me on a very long and fun journey building OB speakers, and experimenting with all manner of audio fun. It is also the reason I ultimately became a mod here, as that particular obsession (OB speakers) was a ton of affordable fun. That thread really brought me closer to this community, and although I currently use box 2 ways (the
heresy!), I still enjoy reading about OB's and may again play with them in the future.

There were tons of threads (I wrote at least 2 reviews of the different mods I had on 2 different units) over the years. I still use LMS as my server, and the app on our iDevices to control my FLAC collection.
