Thanks guys, I appreciate the nice comments.  :thumb:

My wife and I redid the room with new paint and furniture last November.  That's when she dropped the bomb on me that I could no longer fill her room with acoustic panels.  So the idea of getting art panels came up.  They are form ATS Acoustics.  All of my panels are 4" thick.  ATS did an absolutely fantastic job on them, and they were MUCH cheaper than the usual sources.

Nice. What's your take on the Emerald Physics? They're on my consideration list as a replacement for an aging pair of Carver Amazing, but chances of an audition are pretty slim here in snow-bound Northern WI  :o

Rooze, I love the EP speakers. The bass is adequate in my small room. The mids are gorgeous. Why don't you call up Walter @ EP and check if there are other EP owners in your area?

@Mike, neekomax - Thanks.

Those of you astute enough would have noticed that the VPI Scout is not connected to the system and that is because I am still looking for a phono preamp. To tide me over for some time,  I have pledged for the new Hagerman Bugle2 on Kickstarter. Will probably post another updated video once the vinyly starts rolling.

Ok here is my system on our living room, with my custom Breeze original model.
They are done in redwood burl, curved cabinet, with Amorphous core Raal and matching stands.
I started at our front door and really did a lot if movement to show the room. Taken with iPhone

White vinyl is just that, simply vinyl without the carbon black. That was a special pressing I found while on vacation one year. I wasn't even looking for anything different to play last night, I just happened to spot the cover of Joe's Garage in the rack and pulled it simply because I wanted to hear it, had forgotten it was not a plain black record but had not forgotten just how much I like that album.  8)

As for DSD, wander over to the HiRez circle and the discless circle, lots of info. The short version is that is the audio format used on SACD's and there are now quite a few DAC's on the market that support it, sources to purchase from and a clever fellow figured out a way to use an ancient PS3 to extract the data from SACD's you own. The track I was playing was from the Opus3 records DSD showcase 2.

Very nice, I like the piano black on the Emerald Physics.  :thumb:

ALL the Scandanavian made albums sound very good to me.  All the dozen or so that I have.

Thanks guys

 All the videos have been great, I think it gives a better presentation and feel than a photo of the room.

Hey dudes!

Well. for complicated reasons, my system is now in an entirely different room, and I made a little 'splainer video to post here (mainly to get other ACers to post vids). I give a rundown of the system for most of the vid, and I play some music at the end. The audio recording quality isn't great (iPhone) 'cause I don't have my Zoom H4N right now, but I am LOVING the sound. Just need to knock down some slap echo and we'll be good.
