Regarding the Saints/'Boys game:  Who got those yards on the Colston fumble? Drew completed the pass to Colston, he fumbled, and Graham recovered the ball on the 2.

Who got credit for the roughly 20 yards the ball advanced during the fumble?

Don't understand your question, Jerry.  The Giants aren't looking too solid against the Ravens just now.  The Pokes may still be in this.

I don't think my Giants are going to repeat this year, they're looking pretty bad tonight.

I didn't expect my Ravens to beat the Giants, but worse, my TV stations carried the Bears/Cardinals train game instead.   :duh: :duh:

What's a train game?  Also, the Bears/Cards game was very similar to the game you missed, Ravens/Giants.  In both cases a mediocre team beat a crap team.  The Giants and Cards are really bad, maybe not Detroit or Cleveland bad but not far from it.  The results probably don't mean much because the Bears (if they get in) and the Ravens aren't going anywhere in the playoffs.

Crack open a suds or a pop, pop some popcorn and get ready for tonite!  This one should be full of fireworks.  I could only see the last 9 min of the Cowboy/Saints game.  I'd like to know how many yards the ball traveled in the air for this one and I didn't think NO was gonna pull it out at the end.  Dallas was full of vim and vigor.  But, they did.  Houston got booed in their own stadium.  They played terrible.

Whoa.  I shoulda had this one.  The Niners are just lettin the Seahawks play their game while they take notes.  They know that they are going to see them again and its then that the outcome matters.  They're just coasting for now.  That's the way it's lookin around here.

Congrats to St. Louis,  Congrats to the Seahawks.  Great game from da Saints.  With the Giants disgracefully loosing, Dallas can win the division by beating Washington next game if I have that right.  Well, I think that is gonna happen what with Dallas playing as they are.  Romo has been excellent and consistent :o, I must say.

On second thought, the Redskins win it.  Dallas was down two touchdowns to the Saints with 9 minutes left.  That tells me they're not playing well on the defensive side of the ball.

... and the Colts are in at 10-5 with another comeback and a bit of Luck  :thumb:
Bruce Arians did a great job filling in for Chuck Pagano as head coach. Lots of injuries to key players and basically a whole new team on the field from the first day, learning to work together and win.

Who could have imagined it?

Not me and I'm proud for them.  Damn, son, that's quite a listening room and speaker system you have there.

Well I just reviewed my picks for the big games this weekend and congratulated myself...for not betting on football.  Granted, the Giants could have easily lost to the Ravens, but to be so embarrassed?  Ditto for the Niners, they should be ashamed of their effort.  And even though the Steelers lost by a last second field goal, they should also hang their head in shame as they easily could have won the game not once, but three or four times in the fourth quarter.  Big Ben came up small.  The only ones who looked good in a loss were the Cowgirls, who took it to OT after being behind 14 points late.  Houston was also pitiful.

The NFL is becoming a very poor product with these pros playing like WWF pros, going through the motions for a paycheck.  There are exceptions, like Seattle whose players fly to the ball and hit like on ton o' bricks, and when a team gets motivated for some reason or another.  I'm so sick of seeing players run out of bounds 1 yard before the 1st down marker to avoid a hit that I could scream.  I understand going down to protect the ball when a gang of opponents are on you grabbing for the ball, but yesterday Jeremy Macklin literally dove on the ground after a reception 3 yards in front of the tackler.

Did anyone notice the horrible penalty calling by the refs?

I thought the unnecessary roughness penalty on the Seattle safety who popped Vernon Davis on the sideline was a bad call. That looked like a really good football play to me. He hit him with his shoulder in the chest--did not lead with the helment or hit him above the shoulder.

Yes, and there were several others, as well as pass interference that wasn't PI, offensive PI that wasn't called, on touchdown plays, holding that wasn't holding and blatant holding that wasn't called.  Just seems like it was a really bad weekend for the refs.  I think it's exacerbated by the refs having to make all of these stupid defenseless receiver calls and the like, it takes their focus away from calling, or not calling, stuff that matters.  Heads are going to collide, it's football, get over it.  I applaud the getting rid of using the helmet as a weapon plays, launching with or at the head, etc., but calling a penalty every time there's a collision is ridiculous.

If anything the 69'ers benefitted from bad calls more than Seattle.  That was a complete domination.  In fairness, when those Seahawks fans are that loud, and the team is playing that well on both sides if the bal, they may be the toughest team to beat at home.

I really enjoy watching this Seahawk team play.  Their quarterback is shorter than I am (okay we are the same height)!  And he's a Wisconsin grad.  Congrats, Clark. Your team is very exciting and I hope they confine playing this well and winning big games.
