I have a Grado MR8 in good condition that I will swap for a Denon DL-160 in similarly good condition. Stylus probably has most of its life left as I never played it much. Denon is a much better cartridge for HW-19 turntables, which is why I will not use Grado anymore. Or should that be named Gradio? It picked up a lot of hum in my system. Would make a good input transducer for building an EMI meter.

They wil certainly tell on a table that didn't shield their motors. I'm not sure why companies who sell tables in the multiple $K range won't add $2.00 of material. Even the cheapest of B/W tube TVs had shielded speakers. Having said that, why not sell instead of trade?
