Also, Ghengis Khan was, beyond any question, the baddest man ever to walk (ride) the earth.

Really? How many Navy Crosses does he have? Chesty has five.

Homeboy conquered most of the civilized world. Navy Cross, Shmavy Shmoss. If he had done his thing in modern times, the American Navy would have been under his command, along with everything else.

Surrounded by 22, Chesty destroyed 7 Chinese divisions with one, in a retreat, and by the way, a US division is considerably smaller than a Chinese one. Given the same resources, I'll go with Gen. Puller.

Isaac Newton, transformed mankind's understanding of the universe through measured, scientific observation of a natural phenomenon.  Gravity, inertia, laws of motion, calculus.

James Clerk Maxwell.  Unraveled the mystery of electromagnetism making the modern electrical age a reality.

In all my years on AC, this thread is possibly the stupidest I've ever seen.

It may even be in the running among all audio fora, ever. And that's saying something.

Yeah, it sorta has gotten away from the music element, but I'll concede Chesty Puller edges out Johnny Unitas.  Barely. :thumb:

Bart was great, but #19 reinvented the game, and stuck around a lot longer.    :nono:

Reinhold Messner

 :rotflmao:

The unauthorized biography does make him a candidate, but not the baddest...there is clearly one and only one. And you all know it:

Keyser Soze.

We're done here.

How about Keith Richards?
He died in late 1978 and is still performing.

How many people can pull that one off?
