I love RT since 1977. Robin Trower should be in The Hall of fame.

He looked a lot younger back in 74 when I bought Bridge Sighs on vinyl. The limited edition 180g vinyl release is temporarily out of stock at Amazon  http://www.amazon.com/Bridge-Sighs-Robin-Trower/dp/B003L8GPSY

Honerable mentions...

Miyamoto Musashi. Authored The Five Rings Of Power. A Japanese offering from the category of warrior poet. This view has since been re-imagined by Samuel Colt. Context is so important though. Try your luck on Musashi's playground and see what happens.

Music. Tom F'n Waits. (honorary title abbreviated)

Remember seeing Robin Trower at the Fillmore East when he was with Procol Harum!  Later on as a solo at CW Post college.  He probably was the best at sounding Jimi-ish until SRV came along.

Good call Soundbitten1. Have his "Shadowman" disc. I'll have to check out "Barbed Wire" as well.

Hendrix was transcendent - but not "bad" - Link Wray was bad.

At 70 he was still the baddest man to ever walk the earth:

GG Allin was one f'ed up individual. And his music was horrible.

Also, Ghengis Khan was, beyond any question, the baddest man ever to walk (ride) the earth.

Have not seen it, thanks for the recommendation. I learned about Khan and the Mongols in great detail from historian Dan Carlin's 'Hardcore History' podcast. He devoted something like 8 hours to the subject.  :)

I completely agree. Had Cus D'Amato lived longer, I think Mike's career would have had a better result. I do place him as the best heavyweight of all time, his mid to late 80's iteration would stop anyone flat, even Klitschko.

But by bad I mean baaaad, as in cool, not ruthless.
