After 10 days and 25 hours with these filter, I have to say that I am very impressed with the result. The first day I wasn’t so sure if I would keep it. Now, I can’t live without it! I know I have to let it play some days before making any jugement.
There is more bass, the midrange is more natural, and the unstable treble (is it call beaming?) is removed. The sounstage and the imaging too are more to my liking. The whole presentation is much much more musical and it doesn’t hurt my ears anymore.
My original plan was to add a bass driver after the filter, but now I not in a rush to do it. I think I can even live without a bass driver or a tweeter.
The best thing with the filter is that it doesn’t seem to loss anything, well at least for my ears.
… with one only exception, the efficiency is reduce, I have to turn the volume from 9 oclock to 10-10:30. The first day I have to turn from 9 oclock to aroutn 12. I’m using a Charlize as a power amp.
Thanks to Scorpion and Mark C. This is the best tweak for the Visation B200. It’s simple to understand and easy to do it.
Sorry if my english is not very good, it’s my third language.
