Just got the Didden modified output DCX up and running a few minutes ago.

Who is Didden?

The person who created this upgrade kit for the DCX.

www.linearaudio.nl  The kit is available from Pilgham Audio, referenced on Jan Didden's site.  Took me a weekend to do.  Not bad at all.

Sorry if this has been answered before but I don't remember seeing the details on the remote when used with the Didden active kit for the DCX2496.

What functions can be controlled via the remote when using the Didden modified DCX2496?

I believe I asked about remote volume control previously.  Is that the only feature via remote control?

What remote are you using?

I have been breaking in my CS2s and will have my modded unit in the system later this week.  I have very high hopes and am really excited to see how the mods improve the sound.

I will post my experience in another thread or add on to other AC members threads regarding associated equipment and results.

Thanks

-Nick

You just use any cheapo $7 remote.

Controls total total analog volume, separate HF and LF levels for balancing upper and lower amps, balance left and right, and 3 memories for different setups.  Works like a charm.  Tom
