Right now I have DH Labs AES/EBU, Stereovox HDVX BNC-BNC, and Bluejeans BNC-BNC. Out of the three, to my surprise, the Bluejeans sounds the best to me. It seems to be the most balanced. The DH Labs is the smoothest and fullest sounding of the three, but it lacks the ambiance and spatial ques of the of Bluejeans. Stereovox sounds thin and flat compared to the other two. But I consider these to be "budget" cables, so I'm not quite satisfied with them. I have a VH Audio Pulsar Ag bnc-bnc on the way, so we'll see how that works out.
Someone told me that the cable in this position (with the bdp-1 at least) is very important to the over all sound of the system. He auditioned a bunch and kept the Nordost Odin AES/EBU. Has anyone else tried this $10k cable with their BDP-1?
