Lowtherhaus and Lowenbraü April 16th
« on: 10 Mar 2011, 12:31 am »
Hey GAS guys,

I'll host in April.  Scott is providing the Lowenbraü banner and I'll provide the beer.   Not too much new, but we can crank the Consonance M12 with the MV-52 or we can use the Blackmore/M12 combo if you haven't had a chance to hear the no-baffle madness.  I do have the Gyro/Orbe spinning with the new Fosgate Signature phono section and should also have the little Rega P3 with a Sumiko Blackbird if that interests you.  Also have the iPad controlling the downloads if you want to play with that.   Thought I'd start in the early afternoon and keep it going until we get tired.

Oh, and I will have the soldering station warmed up.... :o

Cool!  I'll need connie-j to come home if we're going to rock the front room.
I have the M12 in bi-amp mode tonight and it is pretty good.

I should be able to make this. Should I bring any vintage Mitsu goodies with me?  :thumb:

The speaker system is bi-amped, but we could run the M12 full-range with one of your Mitsu amps.  Might be fun to hear it.

I can bring any one of 3 sets of vintage speakers as well. Let me know on the amp Mark. If you don't want to mess with it due to your current set-up, I don't want to lug one of the amps for naught.

My place is pretty small but we can swap out anything you would like to bring. Just don't make it a big hassle for you. The only piece we can't swap is the bass amp. I'd have to tear down the whole rack to swap it.  Glad you can make it.

Mark,

Looks like I'll be in town,  so I've put it on my calendar. Look forward to hearing the new phono preamp.
