Thanks for the compliments.

I think it sounds pretty good especially when using the BDP-1. Eating dinner gets in the way of listening to music when I get home in the evenings ... pretty sad.

James, the speakers are B&W 802D. The Beatles USB sounds good, I've only listened to the Revolver album so far, but I think the 96/24 Uncompressed Band on the Run that I downloaded from HD Tracks sounds better. It is stunning.

The rack is made by Billy Bags and that is their Pro Model.

Very nice ones, with Thiel units...
Unfortunately it looks like they are too close to the wall... And the TV should be covered with some dampening cloth.

Note that the Transporter will soon be replaced by the BDP-1

I have ALMOST finished outfitting my dedicated ManCave. I had a new house built 2 years ago with the ManCave as an integral part of the design. I started with an empty shell and have slowly worked my way through stuffing it, lining it and building the acoustical treatments (thats the room ... not the house!!!). Will finish off during my break over Xmas

Well... maybe...

I started buying the new equipment for this current setup in 2005... so its been a long progression of purchases... and I also looked for stuff that would give me long term satisfaction.... which it has.. rather than turning equipment over every few months (which is the true sign of someone with money!!!

).
