It also helps that almost every single vinyl disc has pre and post echo. This is a crosstalk between the groves, so you can quietly hear the next grove and the previous grove together with the actual one. At 33 rpm this is about 2 sec time difference, which is a good echo delay for a medium size hall. Of course it feels livelier and more spacious when you have an added echo to the original signal :-)
That may be right, but that don't sound like what I'm hearing.  Are you saying that is simply THE explanation?  Imagery is nicely tactile and separation is very clear in sections of an orchestra.  If what you are saying were audible, wouldn't what you've pointed to have an effect on that?  Thanks.

Yeah, Robert, think you outta jump on that like a duck on a bug!

The Tone arm I was looking at was the Phantom 1 along with the Dynavector DVRTXV-1S .
Should make a good Combo   :thumb:

Black granite base, Turbo PSU, dustcover.  :thumb:

As well 17" Black BP1.5   :thumb:

Well, Jax, I think the discussion is generally about vinyl.  But tell me, you got a turntable?

Nope.  However, I'm old enough that I predate CD.  But, I happen to like CD.  I won't debate all the pros and cons of vinyl versus CD, that's pointless.  But the digital bashing does get old and it's completely unwarranted IMO.

Same goes for the vinyl bashing.

I enjoy my digital rig, also, but for slightly different reasons.

Meh... Not really. Elvis basically just was present because he had to be. He wasn't exactly a model soldier, and didn't even complete his tour there.

I work with celebrities all the time (I am a roady and frequently work as a driver for bands too), and they are just people too. They use the bathroom on a daily basis, just like all of us...
