It also helps that almost every single vinyl disc has pre and post echo. This is a crosstalk between the groves, so you can quietly hear the next grove and the previous grove together with the actual one. At 33 rpm this is about 2 sec time difference, which is a good echo delay for a medium size hall. Of course it feels livelier and more spacious when you have an added echo to the original signal
