Bryston and Verity Audio speakers

Detail and musicality. Not overly detailed.
Here is a review of the Bryston 28B SST and the Verity Audio Parsifal

Verity is known to quite possibly have the best midrange available (and the most linear top to bottom). The 28B's took advantage of this...from the review: "But here is what I can tell you, the mid-range produced through the Bryston 28B SSTs is as liquid, smooth, lacking in grainy digital artifacts, and as insightful into the soul of the music as I have ever heard. "

The Finn's are $6000 and the Rienzi's are $8900. And you don't lose any of the Verity sound which is consistent through the line.

802D/4BSST is my favourite combination, but I had to settle down for B&W 803/9BSST because of the price diference. I added than the REL sub as more bass was needed for 2 chl.
802D will not have this problem, but it is a matter of choice and I recomend you to audition them using your own test CDs... You will also need a good source/DAC - I am using now a Musical Fidelity A5 CD player but if you are looking at 802D than I would definitely try the Bryston DAC...

Thanks for asking. Well, I am going to audition 2 different Dynaudio models (Focus 360 and Contour S 5.4) in the near future. Then, I'll check out what CES has to offer. That's basically it.

This will take time. I don't wanna rush into things. That's a bad move, imo.

I'm going to try to make it back to Vegas for the CES. Hopefully, I can convince my manager that I need to have a meeting with one of our clients out there so I can get work to cover the flight.

Cool. Thank you. Exactly. I will. Yes I am. The speakers have to disappear when listening. That means the sound appears not to come from the speakers themselves, but outside of them. Of course this depends on the recording and other factors such as the room.
