I feel like someone kicked me hard in the gut!  I'm not even brazilian!!

Brazil just lost it after the equalizer ... Hope messi and co can go the way.
Hi,
You became emotionally distressed because of the game. Watching the game made your emotional energy has been drained and you became weak.
In anothers words the game stole your emotional energy, similarly the women like to draw attention from people to receive the emotional energy of others, this can become an addiction (vampirism).

This is very unpleasant and can last for weeks as the intensity of emotional shock. For this reason I never see soccer games.
Hope you are fine now, Gustavo

migod ... astounding to see how germany ran circles around argentinian defense, and dismantled them with ease! 4-0!! This defeat will haunt Argentina for a long long time.
Sad to see messi go back without scoring

Lets see how spain plays this afternoon .. but germany should be red hot favorites to lift the cup.
It seems that the usual arrogance of the Argentines will slow down a bit...

Speaking of a kick in the guts, I'm Ghanaian, and yesterday's loss to Uruguay was heart-wrenching. Futbol is a cruel sport. Last second of extra-time (over-times), a goal-bound effort is parried off the line with the arm by a Uruguayan player. He gets sent off, but we miss the resultant penalty kick. We ultimately lose in the penalty shoout-out. Makes one question the inception of a rule similar to goal-tending in basketball. Oh well, some music here should help me clear the blues.

I feel for you adamaley  Its been 2 days, and i still feel a little sick in my stomach.
I felt much worse watching ghana lose than brazil. They were a better team, and deserved to win. And reading the comments by uruguay coach and striker today made me pissed all over again ("Hand of God!", "Best save of this world cup!")!
Overall a horrid day yesterday, and today (all 4 teams that i was backing lost)

I don't think i can handle this more than once in 4 years!

I say Uruguay vs Germany.   Netherlands is a great team, but has always fallen short in the end.   That Uruguay red card scares me a bit though.

Spain has too many holes in their defense IMO.  I think Germany will blow them out like like they did with Argentina.   Maybe worse.

Germany is just too good IMO.  No weaknesses - forwards, midfield, defense.

I'd love to see Uruguay come out of nowhere and stun the world, but let's be serious.

Now that I say all that publicly, Netherlands will beat Spain in the finals!

First of all
great World Cup...... certainly the one to remember.

Second,
it was proven numerous times that predictions simply do not work

That is why I predict Germany wining it all.
Then Dutch and Spain 3th.

As Germany's weakness, only one - schematism.

Paraguay Cup muse the lingerie model Larissa Riquelmi promissed to march naked through the streets of Asuncion if his team reach the semifinals of the world.   Seems will stay for 2014.

I have to say I am not too convinced by Germany. I know they seemed to steamroll England and Argentina, but i feel they have been pretty fortunate. In both instances, they got an early goal and picked the teams off on the counter. As they did against Australia. I feel they will become undone against more defensive opposition. They struggled against Ghana, who had the better of exchanges, until a wonder strike from Ozil. They couldnt come back against Serbia, even missed a penalty. Spain seems to be the most accomplished side thus far. They'll score more goals if they played Fabregas and someone other than Torres. Anyway, it's been a great World Cup and I hope to be in Brazil in 2014.

While nothing has been given, there can be a surprise when Holland (we use this word far better than the Netherlands in the rest of the world) meets Germany...especially when you consider the Serbia performance.

I am quite disappointed that Ghana could not take down the far inferior Uruguay.

Paraguay had all that was necessary but quite frankly, Fortuna was in Spain's favor that day.

I am having fútbol jitters until tomorrow.  Uruguay will be EATEN alive by Holland.  Its coach and their cocky attitude needs to be taught a lesson.  I believe in humility as key of good sportmanship<?

Look how Maradona was running is mouth before the Germany encounter and he got taught a lesson in German.  It was ugly.

Honestly speaking, I would love for Holland to win it all. Over the years they've played the game the right way. Provided us with legends, such as my all-time fave, Dennis Bergkamp. I suppose they are usually everyone's second team.  I don't expect them to flounder this time. They seem to have developed some grit and unity. I see a Spain - Holland final, and it will be some final.
Sadly, I expect Spain to endure.
