been following this thread thought I would chime in

I am one of the guys that got turned onto the Junkies thru
the magazines, I bought Trinity Sessions on vinyl Canadian
pressing, been following them since, I like the sound they
have, I own 20 cd's 7 lps including MoFi reissues, I got Remnin
Pak two weeks ago and I love it, very nice recording, also got a
tee shirt to wear to the Capitol Audiofest

I have seen them live 6 times and always enjoy the show

Yes, great album.  ...

3) my assumption that maybe Margo and her brothers will get a slightly larger margin than via record stores...dunno really.

Ok if thats the case I'll follow your advice. So I bought the CD (pre-ordered) from their site and picked up a Remnin Park T- Shirt as well. The art work convinced me.

Check the monthly payments *including* insurance. That's how wife got a fully loaded Accord instead of a two door Civic.

Also Toyota tends to have #censored# sound systems.

Nap.

Confucius say… "One old, 360,000 Km Corolla with a most crappy sound system in the driveway results in a pair of 28B SST² in the den."

Confucius also say….."Have wife’s PT Cruiser go to shop for timing belt change-out @ 125,000 Kms, find out head gasket is also shot - costs the list price of a Bryston BDP-1 to repair."

Realizes how many times this Chrysler has been in the shop this year…

Sobs uncontrollably, lowers head while white knuckled hands rends at hair - slowly, yet delicately slumps to knees. Falls forward, forehead touches cold, hard earth (happens also to find “cow pattie” with face). Rights, arches back, outstretched arms to the heavens - head driven back, face awash in tears and cow manure while flies buzz around head. Clears throat and screams…

“Why me, why have I been cursed and forsaken so with a Chrysler product made in Mexico?“

A voice answers from above…

“Ha-ha - it sucks to be you :P

 :duh: :duh: :duh:

Be well...

Listen for the really low bass tones on the two opening tracks.  Is it the music, the Toronto Subway under the church or someone tapping their foot on a wooden stage

I can't.... will have to wait a couple of days.... I have some nice new CDs and I can't listen to them properly.... Noticed that I didn't post anything lately in the "what are you listening to" thread.... I'm nearly deaf with ringing ears.... my mate that looks like an Iron Maiden cover did it again.... yesterday evening I tried to play MW2 with Ryanz and I got creamed for some 2 games until I turned volume up to 0 dB... it was so disorienting without hearing anything....

I didn't fully recover yet, but I listened to it last night and it sounds to me more like a train. I noticed however that they changed something when going into the 3rd track - lower gain or something. And that sound cannot be heard anymore.

P.S. So which album should I order next.....

Ok, listened again. At this point I'm not sure that it's the same thing on both tracks 1 & 2. First track is recorded with higher gain (the noise floor is quite higher), and the "bass" sound is rather dry and random. Could be a train. They reduce gain when starting track 2 (to make space for the instruments and a higher volume, and the overall noise floor is going lower) however now we can hear a louder, deeper, fuller and more rhythmic thump. Should have gone lower in volume when reducing the gain. So this time it could also be a foot on a podium (not necessarily tapping but just moving to mark the beats).

No reason to keep guessing.   :o   I said to James earlier (10 posts up) that it IS a train... a subway...well documented when Trinity Sessions was released.  In fact, they made sure of the schedule before they went back to do Revisited.

What puzzled me is that the sound is different on second track.....
