Actually, I am mostly making my own wire. I buy copper wire bundles custom made for me and assemble the cable by hand including the conductors, the dielectric materials and the outer sleeveing and then apply the terminations. The only thing I don't do is make the copper strands themselves. The process I use is very labor intensive and it's the only way to achieve the electrical perfomance I am looking for. Also, I have large inventories of different strand configurations which is quite an expense.  Most cable companies buy fully assembled cable from one of a handful of large cable companies and simply terminate and sell. I agree that anyone buying bulk cable should not be selling it for what they do.

On my website, you can read about my opinion on OCC cable.

You should hop on the tour and give 'em a whirl in your own rig.

Hello Fred....

Is this tour still active ?  Been reading bits and pieces....good reviews...I'd like to check out these cables. 8)

lonewolfny42...I think the canadien tour is getting its footing and the lower 48 has yet to launch, so I think you can still be in on the ground floor. :thumb: Highly recommend checking them out wolf...

Ed - I think the ic tour already happened, I was on it.

The power cable, the 'Juice', may be on tour.

Wolfy - the WyWires IC kick-butt.

I was a beta tester actually.  There isn't a US tour yet, just a Candian one which is about to launch.  I've spoken to Alex though and there are plans in the near future for a state-wide one.

I think its pretty clear from my posts that I love the product--right now I'm stepping back and trying to encourage others to take advantage of the tours to come or the risk free trial period.  Maybe they'll love 'em like me or maybe they'll think I'm nuts--either way, I want to hear some opinions from fresh blood!

Is this for the Juice?

I'm torn, I love your ic work, but just built a power cord with DH Labs PowerPlus cable and audio grade Wattgates at each end. I'd hate to hear something blow it away.

The tour coming up in the US will include the Juice (3) as well as the newly developed IC and I will include two of them. I will be announcing the tour early next week. I have several interested people.

I would love in, if you got XLRs, about the only thing I have not replaced yet.

Will this be the thread that the U.S. tour will be announced in??? Or a new thread?

I am guilty of missing quite a bit on this site and do not want to miss this tour... Also hope the "East Coast US cable tour" can include the two of us here in Indiana that are interested.
