Hello Lee

What do you think of cables on their own with out cryo?

Very nice, which is why I decided to offer them to my customers.  I think, at the price points, they are very competitive, and offer a very good value.  I spent a considerable amount of time listening to them and evaluating them, before deciding to offer them on my site.

In fact, I see enough potential in them that I am taking the time (and $$) to cryo them, and am prepared to spend significant amounts of time listening to them again soon, and I prize my time highly, and only spend it on products that intrigue me, or strike me as having good potential.

Those who know me know that, on gear that I take seriously, I tend not to usually make snap judgments, and post opinions on gear until I feel I really have a handle on its "sound".  I carefully listen to things over an extended period of time and really vet the product, before I will opine about a serious product.

Peace,

Lee

I didn't mean it in a bad way.  I'm sorry if you take offense by it but lets be honest, It's true!   :thumb:  I wouldn't think he would sell something that he didn't like as that would be dishonest IMO.

That's the way I took it, no offense here.

I am fortunate that my business is successful enough that I only have to carry products that I like, and would sell to my parents.  I am not forced to bring on a great selling products that I don't really care for, just for the cash flow.

Peace,

Lee

Agreed...

Soon.  Although I don't think it is one manufacturers place to offer his detailed opinions, in a review type format, on another manufacturers' product, I will share more info as I gain more experience with them.  But, I will not offer any opinions as to their sound versus other cables I offer.

However, what I can offer a potential  buyer is my opinion (based on my experience in the context of how they "sounded" in the six or seven systems I will have tried them in) whether they will "jibe" with their system, or not.

I will say at this point that I like them enough that I offered to become a dealer for them.  That should say something.   :green:

Peace,

Lee

Lee, Alex, you guys will do well with these...I'm blown away, computer music (wav, even mp3's) sound excellent..deep, full detailed bass excellent tonal qualities especially, but not limited to, acoustic piano, hand percussion, upright bass, vocals, its all there in just the right proportions..like it was recorded and meant to be played back. Very nice stuff, I would have never thought cables could enable such clarity that I previously thought only components could impart until I heard WyWires... Enjoy!! :thumb:

Great Stuff!
I would love to try the Power Cable on my Pathos when it is available.

BTW, Lee over Cryoparts is great to deal with too.

Alex's first pro-review is out!

http://www.positive-feedback.com/Issue50/wywires.htm

Congrats on a VERY favorable write up!  Its nice to see that a pro-reviewer who has heard the multi-kilobuck stuff shares much of the same sentiment as I do.

Exciting stuff!

Congrats from me too.  I think Bob really did a great job describing the cables "sound".

Alex has got something special going on here.

Lee

Alex congratulations on the review, nice to get professional validation of what we all found to be true of your cables. I personally love what your cables do with the top end, using a ribbon tweeter they fit my system perfectly. I feel i am getting all the detail and sparkle but without an annoying glare.

I love my WyWires!!!    :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Did Levi review Hot-Sauce or Honey cables? (Sorry if I missed where he stated in his review.)

Hey guys...we done good, we pegged everything the reviewer wrote as far as the sound. The theory stuff makes my head hurt but I'm glad Alex knows it, all I know is they sound great and have zero fatigue. I like the way the reviewer listed all the cables available and the costs of each for comparison...when I went on some forums just to let people know the cables were coming out soon and that they sounded good the first thing they'd do is throw price objections at me, then small rocks, then hate mail, its really nice to see such a positive review right out of the gate for Alex's new venture. It was very nice to be part of the process and help Alex to configure his product...

I just recieved a pair of WyWire speaker cables and the fit and finish are unreal. I now have all WyWires in my system and the refinement is thru the roof.

I have had these for several weeks allowing them to break in. They definately have a break in process as they were a little closed in at first.
First impressions were a tighter presence and halographic soundstage.

Fast forward approx 100 hrs, I swapped out the WyWires with my diy $200 retail solid core copper wires to be sure of my impressions.
What i found was equivelant of the upgrade from Toyota to Ferrari, the WyWire make my cables sound silly.

The WyWires had increased volume and presence, Alex said it was do to the better capacitance rating. The music was so much more three dimensional and precise.
The soundstage increased dramatically and imaging is so much more precise.
The bass is much more pronounced and tighter in quality.
Once again the impact of another WyWire added to my system was more akin to a componant upgrade rather than a cable change.

Listening to Diana Krall Quiet Moments the seduction in her voice just fills the room, it is so lifelike. The sound is so much more elegant and just plain seducing. I could never live without these in my system, the change is SO dramatic.
Listening to Dave Grusim all the instruments are so defined and clear, their is so much more air and presence. Detail is much more clear and pronounced.

I lack the volcabulary to fully describe the impact these speaker cables have given to my system. All I can say is if you ever get a chance to try them, you will know.
