The Droid Incredible? Wow what a bad name for a phone. I doubt its incredibleness already.

That really is a bad name. Regardless, I've heard great things about the Droid! Making it seem more and more likely that the Apple engineer who "lost" the 4G prototype was part of a publicity scheme to take away press for the Droid. If that is the case. . .and with the Gizmodo blogger's (reporter's?) home being raided by the cops, heads should roll at Apple, the DA's office and at the police department.

Lame name, fantastic phone. And an OS that doesn't require jailbreaking to be halfway useful (yes I'm bitter that my 3G is too damn slow to jailbreak). If apple isn't scared shitless, they should be.

Let me / us know how you like it. Do you know if it has a keyboard? I know the Incredible doesn't and that's pretty important to me. My large fingers always press the wrong key on the touch screen. I like the real keyboard option.

I don't know if it does or not. However, it is made by Motorola (Droid) and not HTC (Droid Incredible). My guess is that it will have a keyboard.

After seeing the "regular" Droid in action, I think that phone truly is incredible. But that's also in the hands of a tech-savvy person. His phone has free GPS giving turn-by-turn directions. He can speak into the phone and it'll convert to text. He can point the phone at the house across the street and get Google maps street-level pictures of the house. If he rotates the phone, the pictures rotate too. There are too many other cool things to mention.

Some Droid X specs, just released. 24GB, expandable to 40GB!

Doing some research, this actually doesn't have a keyboard. Apparently, there will be another Droid coming out with a keyboard later this year.

I was downtown today in the mall and I went to the AT&T store to try the Iphone 4. I had tried a few droids, but the iphone 4 is just cooler, and decided to order one. I looked at the features and plans side by side, and the iphone was a far better deal than my Verizon setup.
It will be nice to house a bunch of my ALAC music...among the zillion other things it does.

If they would ever release the iPhone on Verizon, we'd be an iPhone (wife) and Droid (technogeek of me) family. As it is now, I don't think I could transfer to AT&T.
